More than 25 years ago, Sharon stepped onto the yoga mat for the first time. It was love at first sight. What began as a curious exploration soon grew into an essential compass that guided her through various phases of her life. Yoga made her stronger, more grounded, and healthier – both physically and mentally-emotionally. It gave her not only more insight into herself but also into her relationships with others and the world around her.
Sharon completed the 500-hour Vinyasa Teacher Training at Svaha Yoga Amsterdam and developed a deep passion for the art of teaching.
In addition to various in-depth trainings, she attended workshops with David Lurey , Jules Febre , Sandra Carson , and Dwayne Holliday , among others. Currently, she is deepening her knowledge of Iyengar Yoga with Rembert Petrus .
Her classes are a combination of flow (movement in connection with the breath), technical alignment, philosophy, respect, and attention to the tradition of the practice. And yes, there is laughter here too – yoga is allowed to be fun ;-)! Studio 108 is a place where everyone can experience the magic of this ancient practice, with the right personal attention and guidance.
Sharon teaches the following classes: Yoga for Beginners , Relax Flow , Vinyasa Flow Intermediate , Vinyasa Flow Basics, Restorative Yoga , Early Morning Vinyasa Flow, and Vinyasa Flow Power Hour . You can also take individual programs with her, such as Personal Yoga Training and Yoga Stress Release.
