About the Teacher
Why study with them?
Lina Kasviki-Pappas was born in 1963 in Greece. She studied engineering at the University of Thessaloniki, but developed an interest in Eastern philosophy and yoga during her studies. These early experiences with Eastern thought led her to travel to India and Thailand, where she deepened her knowledge and gradually shifted her professional focus toward the study of yoga, Tai Chi, and Asian massage techniques.
Since 1990, she has been living permanently on Mount Pilion, the mythical peninsula of the centaurs, in harmony with the elements of nature and Qigong practices that strengthen the balance between mind and body, promoting well-being and inner harmony.
In 1993, together with her partner Jorgos Pappas, she founded the School of Simple Living, Iliohoos, on Mount Pelion. For decades, she has been teaching yoga and Qigong there, focusing on inner peace and joy.
