Through this journey, he has developed a profound understanding of sustainable tourism and the ways in which nature-centered lifestyles support balance, resilience, and well-being.
Mateo has mastered freediving and holotropic breathwork as powerful tools for wellness, self-regulation, and presence. Freediving cultivates deep awareness of breath, body, and mind, activating the parasympathetic nervous system and fostering calm, focus, and inner trust. Practiced with intention, it encourages mental clarity, emotional regulation, and a heightened sense of connection with the ocean and oneself.
Holotropic breathwork supports emotional release, stress reduction, and expanded self-awareness by using conscious breathing to access deeper states of presence. This practice allows participants to gently explore and release stored tension, reconnect with their inner world, and cultivate a grounded, embodied sense of clarity.
