About the Teacher

Why study with them?

After nearly two decades of study, practice, and running personal retreats in Ayurveda, herbalism, energy medicine, yoga, water therapy, and countless other practices, I have realized that the greatest medicine is not a ceremony—it is simply living well. I have built this sanctuary for those who need to remember how to be human again.

When I arrived in Northern Spain, I began again from scratch. This time, I bought an old farmhouse connected to spring water tucked into abundant nature where I could finally live sustainably and reclaim the sacred rituals that the modern world has discarded. Here, ceremony is not a performance and retreats are courageous times of being with what arises within.

Before I moved to the mountains, I had many titles and founded a safe space called The Tree, but after a chapter of service in the West, I felt the call to release that form of being, organization, and image. I literally left everything and everything fell apart for me to come here - to come back to the roots - a sustainable process of living. I want people to have the opportunity and time to discover or live their own truth, not a truth passed from someone else. Breaking free from the current paradigm of spiritual retreats and courses, Casa Apapacho was born.

I have created my sanctuary and welcome you to step back in time, to connect with the land, and to discover, connect, or express yourself on your own terms. It is imperfect and raw, just like we are. Whether you are here for an artist residency or a spiritual hermitage, there are no workshops or groups, no timings, and no set meals.

There is no schedule. There are no expectations. You are invited to inhabit the space, to paint, to walk, and to rest.
I will be tending my plants and my art. You will be tending yourself. In the shared silence of this house, we find the restoration that no "organized retreat" can provide. The time is entirely yours to do whatever you want. I am not here to be your teacher. I am just here tending to the land, painting, foraging and making natural medicine and cosmetics, living with the seasons, and sharing the space as a fellow human.
