About the Teacher

Why study with them?

Amanda Joa is a minister with Divine Earth Church and a licensed mental health counselor specializing in trauma resolution, nervous system healing, and depth-oriented inner work. As a queer clinician and facilitator, Amanda brings lived understanding to the process of reclaiming authenticity, safety, and belonging within oneself. Her presence is steady, perceptive, and deeply compassionate, allowing participants to enter vulnerable and transformative spaces with trust and dignity.

Amanda is extensively trained in Internal Family Systems (IFS), EMDR, and psychedelic-assisted psychotherapy, and has devoted her professional life to supporting the healing of complex trauma, attachment injury, and dissociation. Her approach honors both the psychological and spiritual dimensions of healing, recognizing the sacrament as a sacred opportunity to access truth, release protective burdens, and restore connection to the Self. She works with deep respect for the intelligence of the nervous system and the innate wisdom that emerges when individuals are supported within a safe and reverent container.

Within Divine Earth Church, Amanda serves as a facilitator, preparation guide, and integration support, helping steward experiences with care, discernment, and integrity. She considers this work a sacred responsibility and is devoted to helping others reconnect with their inner authority, resilience, and wholeness, particularly those who have long lived at the margins and are reclaiming their right to exist fully and freely.
