About the Teacher

Why study with them?

Laura is a deeply curious & truly enthusiastic person that lives according to her motto “Explore. Dream. Discover.” After traveling to 40 countries on 5 continents, she felt called to explore within, and so she started her yoga journey with YiA Yoga in November 2018. Passing the 200h Yoga Teacher Training with Lead Trainer Kaytee Hoverson has further empowered Laura to share her voice and the wisdom she has picked up along the road. Since then, she has been teaching Vinyasa Yoga, a flowing but powerful practice where movement meets breath, to her students in Panama, Malaysia & Germany. To dive deeper into the ancient Vedic wisdom, Laura enrolled to the Mysore Ayurveda Academy & Wellness Center in Mysore, India, and obtained a certification in Ayurvedic Nutrition & Cooking in March 2019. The practice of Ayurveda, the traditional science of self-healing, along with her Yoga practice on and off the mat, enable Laura to live a life in line with her innate nature, a feeling she is longing to spread out into the world. To complete her year of growth, she completed a 50h Yin Yoga Teacher Training at the Arhanta Online Academy in October 2019. In this course and also by self-study, she has improved her understanding on human energy fields & their influence on our wellbeing. This has completed her current style of teaching: She pays attention to detail to create well-balanced classes, where physical exercise meets deep relaxation, yin meets yang. She encourages her students to create space in their body and mind and to connect to their inner strength, to find the courage to switch things up (in yoga practice and real life) and to unconditionally embrace themselves.
