Chile, 1947, pioneer of yoga in Latin America, former Ambassador of Chile in Japan, international entrepreneur, writer and columnist in yoga magazines from several countries.
Gustavo Ponce’s training in yoga started when he was only 11- year-old. From the time he made his first pilgrimage to India in 1972 he has studied with teachers such as Shri Yogendra (Santa Cruz Yoga Institute, Mumbai), B.K.S. Iyengar, Pune; T.K.V. Desikachar, Chennai; Pattabhi Jois, Mysore; Swami Mahadevananda, Bihar and Bagwan Shri Rashneesh -Osho-, Pune. In the West, he studied with Dona Holleman, Florence; Swami Digambar, Madrid; Per Winther, Tokyo, and many other masters.
He has published 17 books, many of them available on Amazon. He also developed several yoga methods: Axis, Dynamic, Sattva, Prana Shakti and the most important for him in this stage of his life, GPBALANCE. Gustavo Ponce currently teaches in his own country and in Brazil and Europe.
