Why study with them?

Eftychia holds a Diploma in Psychology from Aristotle University in Thessaloniki, Greece and has been also trained as a Dance Movement Psychotherapist at a postgraduate level in Goldsmiths College London, UK. She gained her professional experience working therapeutically with adults, adolescents and children in a variety of clinical and non-clinical settings in the UK and Greece.

Specifically, Eftychia worked for the UK’s National Health Service (NHS) with individuals suffering from Eating Disorders. Additionally, she worked as a dance movement psychotherapist in numerous organisations with people experiencing psychosis, addiction, homelessness as well as with individuals with developmental difficulties.

Eftychia has considerable expertise in facilitating body oriented therapeutic groups as this has been one of her main fields of work for the last six years. Currently, she is based in Greece where she works for a Greek NGO offering dance movement psychotherapy for hospitalised children and adolescents experiencing mental health difficulties. She also maintains her own private practice working therapeutically with both adults and children.

Eftychia discovered that connecting with her body helped her connect with her own truth and joy in life. For this reason, she is passionate about helping people discover their own truth and authenticity with the help of their body cues and experience the therapeutic and healing resources of one’s own body.
