About the Teacher
Why study with them?
Growing up I followed a very rational and scientific path. At the same time however, my mother also introduced me to meditation, yoga and energy work (reiki) from a young age. I remember she talked to me about doing ayahuasca in Brazil in 2009, and I was just rolling my eyes.
After years of depression however, I knew I needed a change and I slowly started opening up to the less rational side of life. I started meditating again, and did a Yoga teacher training in India. I also entered the world of magical plants in 2016 and attended my first ayahuasca ceremony. In the following years slowly but surely and through experience, I started to learn how different entheogenic plants work.
Inner peace and freedom are very important to me and also in the services I offer. I therefore intent to let all of you find new levels, and meaning to what inner peace and freedom means to you personally.
As part of this I prefer staying away from any labels, titles and boxes such as "shaman" or "healer". I feel they do not contribute to my inner peace. They create stories, patterns and images, which in turn create limitations and take away our freedom to authentically move through life. It's also not the title, outfit or certificate that makes you a healer or a shaman or impactful, it's the way you live your life.
I believe that we as humans are capable of always deciding who we want to be and what we want to believe in. If we want to use this power for our greater good, it is important to always stay open and honest - especially towards yourself. To tap into our authenticity and our core, plant medicines are here to work with us. And I am here to offer a non-judgmental safe space, where you can feel empowered and supported to go inside and connect to your "krakti".
"Krakti" means power, strength or force in Surinamese (language of the country of Suriname, South America). I chose to operate under this name because I believe that all we need is to have safe spaces where we can connect with our inner power, strength and force.
With Krakti I have chosen plant medicine wise to focus mainly on private sessions, with at least one online meet up before, and one after the ceremony. I have done this as I believe that in this way together we can create the optimal space for a plant medicine journey.
With joy & blessings,
Nancy
