Maru Adame

Maru Adame is a seeker with 25 years of experience teaching yoga movement, and meditation.
She lived 25 years ago in India to study yoga and meditation in Bihar yoga school and Buddhist monasteries in Nepal and has Minyur Rimpoche and Goenka as its teachers.

Holds 6 international certifications and postgraduate studies in INDIA, USA and Mx (yoga, therapeutic yoga, somatic movement, mindfulness). Has done the healing process of pathwork, and psychotherapy.
Has studied meditation over 25 years with Jon Kabbat Zinn, Vipassana by Goenka and Buddhist meditation by Minyur Rimpche.

In Plant Medicine she discover its healing potential 30 years ago with the Huicholes Indigenous communities.
Since then has been in contact with the plant medicine tradition of Huicholes and Mazatecos in MX and Taitas in Brazil and Peru. Seeing their qualities for therapeutic work, but also its downfalls and risks. So her work with plant medicine is very safe in set and settings, down to earth, professional, science base, objective of the outcomes. And understands that the integration of plant medicine comes from a committed psycho-therapeutic and Self-awareness work. This is really needed for healing and change the patterns that holds us back.

Maru Adame has founded Buddhiyoga a project to give tools (science base) to be proactive of our well being- health and healing.
All the medicines to get to know and accept ourselves, and be kind, compassionate, caring and nutritive friends of ourselves.
