About the Teacher

Why study with them?

Daniel Zavrel (1967), business economist, is the founder of Consciouz. He is also the developer of the Being in Balance® coaching method.
After his career at Accenture, he listened to his “inner navigation system” (his heart) and he radically altered his course. He became managing director of OIBIBIO Business, which was a revolutionary concept to advocate personal growth, spirituality, and awareness in the Netherlands.

Daniel participated in courses in Change Management in Chicago, Person-centered Training, NLP, Avatar, Natural Nutrition, Spiral Dynamics®, Basic Medical Training at bachelor’s level, HeartMath® Group Trainer and Transcendental Meditation®. He is also Mindfulness trainer and internationally certified Iyengar Yoga® teacher.

This ideal combination of soul and business motivated him in 1997 to found the training and coaching company Consciouz.

Daniel trained about forty HeartMath® (Heart Coherence) trainers in the Netherlands and provided more than 1000 HeartMath® training sessions in various major organizations, such as ABN AMRO Bank, Achmea, Unilever, Shell, Accenture, Delta Lloyd, PWC, McKinsey & Company, Rabobank, AS Watson, Nestlé, Vopak, Mercuri Urval, Van Lanschot Bankers, EY, and many others.

At the Dutch National Police, he has now trained over 2000 police officers, (management) staff members, and detectives in Mental Resilience.

For 4 years Daniel was Mental Coach at the first team of PSV soccer club. In these 4 years PSV became 3 times the National Dutch Champion in the Dutch 'Eredivisie' league. With AZ he won the Dutch KNVB Beker as mental coach.

Daniel is also an international speaker at Speakers Academy®.

With his companies Consciouz and Being in Balance coaching he has established a mission for himself in the form a fifty-year plan to contribute strongly to Global Wellbeing.

Daniel has a deep passion to designing and manifesting your dream life. He is happily married with Andrea and together they are the proud parents of 7 children,
