About The Teacher
Phil grew up in suburban Melbourne under the influence of the sea and middle class niceties. Highlights of schooling revolved around music and included minor triumphs in pianoforte and trumpeting recitals.
This trajectory didn't last long, and post Bachelor of Urban Planning and the swirl of student politics, Phil was soon exploring creative and activist avenues such as sound engineering, landscaping, wetland restoration and pro-public transport lobbying.
Phil explored existential courses like those offered by Landmark Education "Curriculum For Living" in the mid-90's which helped heal rifts with his family, then moved toward a more holistic approach to healing the organism. The year 2002 proved a turning point, being attracted to a professional team of trainers & practitioners from the Centre from Human Transformation (near Yarra Glen in Victoria) presenting a modality called "Body Transformation" with its roots neo-Reichian and Rolfing therapy.
However, it was upon discovering Breathwork or Cellular Memory Release in 2005, that Phil found a modality which eclipsed all others. It was a profoundly simple process which led to very big transformations. The rich vein of non-ordinary states of consciousness opened up by the pioneering work of Wilhelm Reich, Alexandra Lowen and Stanislav Grof was a powerful one which Phil believes will stand the test of time.
And that is the essence of Phil's work. The personal revolution / transformation must occur inside us before we can make serious inroads into the multiple dysfunctions afflicting our present epoch.

I had a amazing BreathWork Session with Phil, I was experincing some Anxiety and had Made some big changes in my life moving interstate & insecurity career wise. The session was an opener and helped me see a bigger picture but best of all I enjoyed releasing some old hurts and have felt major adjustments since the session in which some 'stuff' still comes up but much easier to deal with & I feel much more on track! Highly Recommended!
