Maestra Lucila

Lucila grew up in the community of San Francisco de Yarinacocha, and was introduced to the plants at a young age by her father Leonardo, her mother and her grandfather.

Lucila began her training to become a maestra at the age of 19 when she began her first dieta with piñon colorado. After completing her first dieta, Lucila continued to diet with the plants for 3 years uninterrupted. She graduated to working with the most powerful of master plants including chiric sanago, toé and ayahuma.
