Why study with them?

Leonardo was born in the Shipibo community of San Francisco de Yarinacocha. At the age of 16 he went to live with his grandfather who was a curandero (healer) in a small community called Abujao. .

Leonardo drank ayahuasca with his grandfather every third day, and began to work with the sacred plant mapacho intensively. Under the guidance of his grandfather, Leonardo began his first dieta with piñon colorado. This dieta lasted 3 months. After completing his first dieta, he went on to diet piñon blanco for 3 months, and at the age of 18 he began to work with chiric sanango and toé.

My experience with Shaman Leonardo
Leonardo is a very special and deeply experienced Shaman, this showed from the way he would sing his Icarus during ceremonies, I remember having a ceremony where his song literally pulled the vomit out my stomach, I felt his energy very strongly in ceremonies and always knew he was looking out for me. Outside of ceremonies, he is a very simple, quiet man, he doesn't say much but he always has a smile on his face, spends his time sitting with the ayahuasca while it brews or just sitting in nature, watching something that we can't see. I have massive respect for him, I feel honoured to experience such a person in my life. I hope to meet him again one day.
