About the Teacher

Why study with them?

With a playful and joyful approach, I like to invite people to step beyond their comfort zones, both on and off the mat. My sessions blend invigorating and dynamic flows with gentleness of yin, flexibility and connective tissue release exercises.

While my roots lie in traditional Hatha yoga, following the lineage of Swami Sivananda, my journey had led me to explore a myriad of style. I weave together ancient practices such as Ashtanga and Hatha with newer forms like Embodiment, Yin and Aerial yoga. Additionally, I incorporate contemporary myofascial release and mobility techniques.

Flexibility is key in my teaching philosophy - I tailor classes to meet students’ needs, drawing inspiration from the ever-changing rhythms of nature, including the seasons and lunar cycles, guided by both the yoga sutras of Patanjali and Iantric philosophy.

On a more formal note, I hold certifications in Hatha Yoga (200h with Arhanta Yoga) and advanced training (300h with Trimurti Yoga), specializing in 5 Elements Yin & Yang Yoga and Ayurvedic teachings, making me a RYT 500 certified instructor. I have also pursued additional training in Aerial Yoga, self-myofascial Release, and ayurvedic holistic coaching for women.

Originally from Belgium, I've spent years dividing my time between Switzerland and Portugal. During winters, I managed a ski school, while summers I was dedicated to run my own guesthouse and yoga school in Portugal. Passionate about both mountains and oceans, I enjoy snowboarding and surfing. Currently, I have made the Swiss mountains my permanent home, where I primarily teach and co-manage the Mad Retreat hotel.
