Why study with them?
Catarina Limão always knew that the arts would be part of her journey. Today, she realizes that not only the arts but also any form of communication are essential to her path.
She began by studying Industrial Design at the Faculty of Architecture in Lisbon, but her professional career has been focused on communication through image and voice. She started in radio and TV as a voice-over artist and presenter of youth programs. Later, she joined RTP, where she worked for 10 years as a voice-over artist and reporter for Antena 3 and TOP +.
However, in the last five years, the need to balance her body to become a mother after the age of 40—following an unexpected and first miscarriage—sparked a new passion: Health. A passion for feeling good and happy with herself and in her body.
At the same time, she rediscovered the power of nutrition and the alchemy of flavors in the kitchen. She reconnected with nature and became aware of the perfection of the human body. She attended several workshops and courses on gluten-free
baking, integrative health, gluten-free and refined sugar-free confectionery, Kombucha, fermented vegetables, and vegan cheeses.
With the intention of honoring the body, spreading love, health, support, compassion, and empathy, she enrolled in the Nutrition Health Coach course at the Institute for Integrative Nutrition in New York. Now certified, she works as a Mentor and Consultant in Nutrition and Integrative Health. In May, she will complete her specialization in Hormonal Health.
This new career is more than just a profession; it is her way of life. That’s why she decided to create a line of food products based on what she makes weekly in her own kitchen. She started with bread! After all, bread is a staple of our diet and also a symbol of daily struggle and survival, as well as a spiritual food that represents life, rebirth, prosperity, and sacrifice.
