About the Teacher
Why study with them?
When Tosha began her own journey towards spiritual healing around four years ago, she was also teaching yoga at a substance recovery center, seeing yoga heal others helped heal her. Yoga brought Tosha into her body and taught her how to connect and relate to the world around her. Being in the mountains amongst the trees is where she feels closest to Great Mother Earth. Her journey has shown her that her Divine dharma is to work for Spirit, in whatever means it manifests.
Tosha’s first love of yoga was asana practice. Before Tosha came into connection with the Kula collective she was certified in hot yoga, JVAL yoga, and restorative yoga. Then in 2019 she went on her first Kula collective retreat and has traveled with them ever since. Through the collective, Tosha discovered a global community that would strengthen her understanding of her purpose in life. Now she is currently a RYT500, sharing holistic yoga comprised of asana, pranayama, meditation, mudras, mantras, song and love. Passionate about the healing powers of human connection and touch, Tosha has also studied reiki healing and Thai massage. She incorporates that knowledge with powerful hands on assist and intuitive alignment in her classes. Tosha believes through intentional connection and community building that she cultivates her authentic self which in turn helps others do the same. She also believes in using movement to challenge her students to get familiar with their own personal understanding of their spirit. Ceremony, rituals & gatherings of dance or song are devotional practices that refuel her energy and spark true joy.
