-Certification
Sambodhi Yoga Home offers a 200-Hour Yoga Teacher Training course affiliated with Yoga Alliance. After the completion of training, students are eligible to register with Yoga Alliance as Registered Yoga Teacher (RYT®) & can teach globally.
-Design
The training is designed to challenge and evolve individuals at all levels by academically graduated teachers and researchers. This 200-Hour course mainly focuses on Hatha Yoga and Ashtanga, with an emphasis on the breath and synchronizing with the movements, alignment and adjustments.
This YTT course for those who want to taste the essence of Yoga science (from where Yoga is originated) and want to transform life. As a result, you may experience more liberated, blissful and peaceful.
-How everyday look like
You will begin with the morning Yoga practice (mantra chanting, two hours of Hatha Yoga class followed by Pranayama and meditation) by listening to the chirping sound of birds, a pure natural breath of the Himalayas inside the Yoga retreat.
The afternoons are focused on deep analysis of each Asanas, breathing of Asanas (Yoga poses), alignment and adjustments of Yoga, Pranayama (control over Prana) with breathing, Mudras (Yogic/psychic gesture) and teaching methodology. You will also learn Yoga anatomy (mechanism of Yoga). In the evening you will practice the Ashtanga style of Yoga.

This Yoga Teacher Training course includes following comprehensive details:

Yogasana (Yoga Pose)
• This training includes 100 Yoga postures with four main Sthiti or situations (standing Asanas, sitting Asanas, supine Asanas & prone Asanas).
• You will learn breathing, awareness, benefits and contra-indication of each Yoga pose
• You will learn from simple yet effective Yoga poses to advanced Yoga poses such as headstand, king pigeon pose, arm balancing pose etc.
• Modification, variations, and advanced variations of the Asanas.

Use of Yoga Props and Advanced Yoga
• Yoga block and strap
• Use of wall in Yoga practice
• YTT will cover asana keys such as headstand, advanced back-bends, inversions, split, hip opener and forward fold.

Practice Teaching (Practicum)
Practice Teaching (Practicum)
You will start to practice teaching after about a week of practice. Practicing Yoga few days in a receptive mood is so important so that you will know that, teaching others is a byproduct of your self-practice. Teaching will also be progressive, starting with one-to-one lessons in the beginning and moving step by step to bigger groups of students ending up in full open classes.

Yoga Trek
We will move for a long Hike from Sambodhi Yoga Home to Shivapuri Peak on Friday. It is 2,732 meters above sea level. You will pass through the beautiful park with its wide variety of flora and fauna during the hike. you can see breathtaking views of Himalayan ranges and stunning panoramic views of the Kathmandu Valley. It may take 7-8 hours to complete the hike.

Directions

-Arrival by airplane
Please book your flight to arrive at Tribhuvan International airport (KTM), Kathmandu. When you arrive at airport KTM, you may go to the prepaid taxi counter and you may pass the SAMBODHI YOGA HOME's address and contact number. The journey takes between 35 - 45 minutes to reach to Yoga Home.

If you have chosen transportation with us, our assistant will be waiting in waiting area with Sambodhi Yoga Home card, when you come out from the elevator.

Our typical family house with a sunny and flowery garden is an excellent place for holistic and spiritual practice of yoga and meditation.
Located in the purest and cleanest area of Kathmandu valley at 1590 meters altitude, through which the entire valley can be seen very clearly.
In Sambodhi yoga home, you will start experiencing bliss as you enter this area. After your stay with us, your physical fitness, mental equipoise, and spiritual rapture will be enhanced. And you will feel like a new person clean and peaceful.

The location of our place is ideal for people who want to enjoy nature after or before the yoga retreat. Indeed, Shivpuri-Nagarjuna National Park\'s is located just 450 meters from the yoga home. So you can enjoy easily the best hiking routes in Kathmandu. For instance, Nagi Gumba (4 km), Bishnu Dwar (5,3 km), and Baghdwar (around 4 h of walking from the house), where you can observe beautiful green hilly lands and chirping sound of birds. If you have time, we highly advise you to hike until the Shivpuri peak (2732 meters), where a sage named Sivapuri Baba had done a very long meditation practice.
