"Chambres d'hôtes" in a 18th century restored farmhouse, surrounded by 51 ha of fields and woods. There is a friendly and informal atmosphere. Ideal location for exploring the many local sights.Situated, in an area of natural beauty with superb views of the Pic Bugarach, Lavaldieu is between the enigmatic village of Rennes le Chateau and the thermal spa of Rennes le Bains, 45km south of Carcassonne, close to the Pyrenees and Mediterranean (1h15).

The meals will be mostly vegetarian or vegan, cooked by our chef of 25 years experience. Using all organic and local ingredients, it will be French Cuisine with a twist. Gluten free on request.

We will be picking people up from either Carcassonne or Toulouse Airport ~ if you choose to fly to either Perpignan or Barcelona, please note you will need to find your own way to Carcassonne or Toulouse for us to pick you up. By Air you have multiple choices of Airports, closest being Carcassonne and Perpignan. Toulouse and Montpellier  have the most connections to the area. Perpignan (1hr Drive) & Carcassonne (1hr Drive) to Bugarach Toulouse (2hr Drive) to Bugarach Barcelona (4hr - very beautiful - Drive) to Bugarach ♀ We recommend guests to arrive either the day before, or early in the morning  to the same airport, so costs can be shared for car hire & travel costs. Car hire can start from €11 a day if booked in advance from Auto Europe in Toulouse.  We will create a Telegram group for attendees to organise their travel together. Shuttles can be arranged at an additional cost. ♀ Rome to Rio is a helpful app for planning journeys via public transport, though we highly recommend the car hire option in small groups for ease and adventure!
