Mission & Vision
Beyond THAT Day was born in a hospital room while my daughter was receiving chemotherapy. In the middle of everything she looked at me and asked, "What happens after all of this?" I didn't have an answer. But that question stayed with me.
Over time, I realized she wasn't only asking about cancer. She was asking the question so many of us quietly ask after a diagnosis, a loss, a divorce, a betrayal, becoming a mother, or any moment that changes who we are: What happens after the day that changed everything?
That question became the foundation of my work. Today, Beyond THAT Day helps women find meaning in life's defining moments and intentionally choose what comes next.

Directions
For your guests flying into Pensacola International Airport (PNS), here is the breakdown of how to reach The Lodge at Gulf State Park:
By Car (Rental or Personal)
The Route: The drive is approximately 35 miles and typically takes about 1 hour. The most scenic path follows the coastline via FL-292 W and AL-182 W.
Parking: As a guest at the Hilton property, parking is available on-site.
By Taxi or Rideshare
Uber/Lyft: Rideshare services are readily available at PNS. A one-way trip to Gulf Shores usually costs between $60–$90 depending on the time of day and vehicle type.
Airport Taxis: Traditional taxi stands are located outside the baggage claim area. It is often helpful to pre-book a local shuttle service if you are traveling with a group of other moms.
By Bus / Public Transit
Limited Availability: There is currently no direct public bus or train service that connects Pensacola International Airport to Gulf Shores, Alabama.
Recommendation: Because of the coastal location and the distance between the airport and the sanctuary, we strongly recommend a car rental or rideshare to ensure a smooth transition into your retreat experience.
Planning Note:
Since the drive is roughly an hour, I recommend guests aim for a flight that lands no later than 2:30 PM on Friday. This allows time for baggage claim, the one-hour drive, and a relaxed 4:00 PM check-in to receive their "Mask Down" Welcome Bag.
