Domestic Flights Daily flights to Nosara Airport (about 15 km from PachaMama) are available through Sansa Air from SJO. We recommend using Google Maps directions for directions. Note: From May to November, a 4-wheel-drive (4×4) vehicle is necessary due to road conditions. During this season, the route via Santa Cruz-Marbella is preferred. Bus Service A direct bus leaves daily from San José to Nosara at 5:30 AM and 3:00 PM, with a stop in Santa Cruz. You can check current schedules and make reservations through this website. The San José bus terminal is near Antiguo Cine Libano. Here’s a map. Wonderful community
Walking into PachaMama is for me coming home. My entire nervous system relaxes. I have been coming here for 16 years and while there have been some changes the essence of PachaMama is alive and breathing. The nature, the river and the workshops here are rejuvenating and have helped me dive deep into my core and help me find my true essence. I love PachaMama and will continue to return again and again.

Home and transformation
I have been coming to PachaMama for the past 4 years and it’s been a very good experience. I’ve done a lot of woman’s workshops and can truly say my life changed after all these experiences. I’ve grown as a person and PachaMama and all it has to offer created the space to allow it. The healthy tasty food, daily yoga classes, all the movement. Ceremonies, events, workshops. The river and the beautiful beach close by. PachaMama will always have a place in my heart. I highly recommend coming here if you feel the call to go deeper in life.

a sanctuary for the soul
a place that was created for seekers to reconnect with essence, with nature, with that which is already sacred within and around us. It is inviting to come back to the simplicity and joy of life, through meditation and celebration, through inner work and music, deep solitude and community.

Out of this world
I came to Pachamama as work exchanger but my main purpose was to partake in some of the workshop. In particular, the Freedom from the Past workshop and the Silent retreat. Neither disappointed, in fact both were deep gifts I will carry forever.
I loved the WEX program, it gave me an opportunity to experience Pachamama. I loved my casita! I love that the food is local and organic, most importantly amazing vegetarian options! This place changed my life to my core. It might not be for everyone but if you love nature, community, dance and much more I highly recommend this place
