Getting to Sli na Bande by car (Dublin-Sli na Bande – 44km – 35min): Coming From Dublin, take the N11. Leave the N11 at the signposts for Newtownmountkennedy. Follow the signposts to the village. Go through the village until the Industrial Estate. Immediately before the Industrial Estate turn right and continue uphill and through the roundabout (2nd exit). At both of the next two roundabouts, take the first exit. Look out for the slightly hidden, sharp right turn up a small road. Go up the road for a mile, the road becomes a dirt track. Go up the dirt track for 50 yard. There is a granite stone wall on the righthand side and a painted gate which is the entrance of the property. Go up the drive, park on the concrete. Getting to Sli na Bande by bus from Dublin (1h): Bus Eireann 133 from Dublin – Georges Quay (in front of Busaras, crossing the bridge). Check the bus 133 timetable Get off the bus at the church. Go up the hill beside the church, take the first left. Follow the road to the roundabout and take the 3rd exit. At both of the next two roundabouts, take the first exit.
