Pachamama Sanctuary

Pachamama sanctuary is a place where you get a chance to be free completely. Where you can be yourself without being judged. If you’re new to spirituality practices, this is a great place to start. Spoiler alert, after you meet yourself, you can never go back to your old life and feel comfortable. The need to do better for yourself will be all around you and within you, so you will have no choice but Integrate yourself with the new you.
If you are already aware of your spiritual journey, this is a place where you will gain more clarity of where you are and where you need to be. You will see who you are or have become, and where you prefer or would like to be.
For me, it was a shift from believing that there’s a light at the end of the tunnel, to actually seeing that light 💡.
As I continue on my spiritual journey, I am happy and joyful that I possess a compass along the way, knowing where to turn and what to integrate moment to moment.
At Pachamama Sanctuary, you will be received by gentle souls and be guided with love. It is a safe space to work through your “knots” in life, and go on to live a beautiful and magical life.

I was already far outside my comfort zone just by signing up for this retreat, and by the time I was driving there, my stress was redlining. But the moment I pulled into that long, winding driveway — a driveway I’ve come to love — something in me softened. I parked, grabbed my things, and headed inside, still carrying the heavy, invisible armor I’ve worn for years.

As soon as I stepped into the sanctuary, the energy shifted. A gentleman approached me and asked a few gentle questions. His name was Glen, part of the sanctuary team, and I am eternally grateful for him. His calm voice and steady presence immediately began dismantling that armor I thought I needed. I’m a big guy with mobility issues, so safety is always priority one. Glen asked about my health, my blood pressure, making sure I was okay. I told him I had just had a physical and that even though I’m big as a horse, I’m healthy as one too.

Once I was signed in, I chose my mattress. People slowly trickled in, and I met some truly amazing souls. Every one of us was broken in our own way, yet somehow we were exactly where we needed to be — together. I connected instantly with one gentleman, the kind of connection that feels like you’ve known someone your whole life.

The ceremonies — and Arkawa — were absolutely mystical. The chants, the harmonica, the rustling leaves, the drums, the guitars, the cleansing smoke, the volunteers dressed in white, the flickering candles… it all created an atmosphere unlike anything I’ve ever experienced. It was sacred. It was powerful. It was healing.

If Ayahuasca is part of your healing journey, I highly recommend Pachamama Sanctuary. Derek, I cannot thank you enough. I never thought I would ever experience Ayahuasca, and you made that possible. You have changed my life, sir. I am forever grateful to you, brother.

This was an incredible weekend for me personally. I opted to not take the medicine (per a health concern) yet was pleasantly surprised and amazed that I actually felt some of the positive effects, along with a lot of love and good energy in the room.
The staff was very attentive, helpful and kind. I felt safe and cared for. I slept like a baby in room full of other people and loved that all the food was healthy and simple. Next time I would like to experience the medicine!
