Mission & Vision
We believe living is an art that has to be nurtured and developed. The Art of Living Foundation is a non-profit organization dedicated to the collective uplifting of humanity. We offer short, concise workshops packed with timeless wisdom on how to approach daily life and inevitable stressors. We impart tried and tested techniques to quiet the mind and land in the present moment. So come, embrace your potential and find the deep rest you've been searching for within you.
The Art of Living Foundation is a multinational organization started by world-renowned humanitarian and spiritual leader Sri Sri Ravi Shankar. Born in southern India, Sri Sri was found meditating and reciting the Bhagavad Gita at the age of four. Later in life, he studied Vedic literature and physics. In 1982, Sri Sri Ravi Shankar retreated for a period of silence in Shimoga and developed the powerful breathing technique known as Sudarshan Kriya which is now offered worldwide in the Happiness Program.
The Canadian International Centre was the first centre opened by Sri Sri Ravi Shankar. Since 1991, the centre has continued to grow and offer a sanctuary to anyone looking to reconnect with nature and themselves.
