Directions
Getting to San Juan del Sur – Airfare Options
There are two main airport options for arriving at the retreat:
✈️ Option 1: Fly into Managua, Nicaragua (MGA)
This is the most direct option. Managua’s Augusto C. Sandino International Airport is about 2.5 hours by car from San Juan del Sur. We can help coordinate private or shared transportation from the airport to the retreat.
✈️ Option 2: Fly into Liberia, Costa Rica (LIR)
Liberia’s Daniel Oduber Quirós International Airport is located just across the border in Costa Rica, about 2.5–3.5 hours from San Juan del Sur (including time at the border crossing). This option is ideal for travelers looking for more flight availability or better deals. Transportation from Liberia can also be arranged, but be sure to check visa requirements and allow extra time for border procedures.
Whichever route you choose, we’re happy to assist with logistics and make your journey as smooth as possible! (We will provide transportation from Managua airport or Costa Rica border to the venue)
