Together with her family, she has created Aldea Yakunah, a conscious jungle sanctuary where traditional medicine, nature and community come together to support personal transformation. Space Guardian & Facilitator Pepe is deeply connected to the path of personal transformation and the work with ancestral medicines. For many years he was part of the corporate world, building his professional life within demanding business environments where the rhythm of the modern system shaped his daily life. Over time, however, he began to feel a deeper inner calling that led him to question that way of living and to search for a path more aligned with nature, inner awareness, and spiritual purpose. This search brought him closer to inner work and the wisdom of ancestral medicines, beginning a profound journey of learning, personal transformation and expansion of consciousness. Through the years he has been involved in ceremonial spaces and healing processes, developing a natural ability to care for the energy of the space and offer grounded support to those going through deep personal experiences. Pepe’s presence is often described as calm, stable and protective. These qualities help create a safe and respectful environment for participants who come seeking clarity, healing and reconnection with themselves. Eventually, life led him to make a radical decision: to leave behind the conventional path and create a life that was simpler, more conscious and deeply connected to the earth. Together with his wife, Kaan Ixin, he chose to follow this vision and co-create Aldea Yakunah, a sanctuary in the heart of the jungle where today he and his family continue developing a life project dedicated to nature, awareness and the support of personal transformation processes.

One-Night Ceremony | May 31 – June 1

Join us for a sacred night of healing and deep introspection under the powerful energy of the Full Moon, in the heart of the Mayan jungle of Mexico.

This intimate retreat offers a unique opportunity to experience a traditional Ayahuasca ceremony in a natural and protected environment, surrounded by the living energy of the jungle.

Held at Aldea Yakunah, a conscious sanctuary dedicated to healing, nature and ancestral wisdom, this experience invites participants to step away from the noise of everyday life and reconnect with their inner world.

The full moon has long been associated with emotional clarity, illumination and release. Under its light, participants are guided through a ceremonial space designed to support introspection, healing and personal transformation.

During this retreat participants receive conscious support before, during and after the ceremony. Prior to the gathering, guidance and preparation are shared so participants can arrive with clarity and intention. During the ceremony the space is held with care, respect and presence. The following morning an integration circle is offered to help participants process and understand their experience.

The retreat is intentionally kept small and intimate, allowing each participant to receive personal attention and support throughout their process. This helps create a safe, respectful and grounded environment where each person can move through their experience at their own rhythm.

Aldea Yakunah is located in the heart of the Mayan jungle, just 1 hour from Cancun International Airport, with direct access from the main highway.

Getting here is very easy:

From Cancun International Airport:
The airport offers convenient transportation to the main bus terminals (ADO, Noreste, Oriente, and others) as well as taxis.

From there, you can take:

Shared vans and colectivos (frequent public transport)

Passenger buses that run along the highway and drop you off very close to the entrance

From Cancun, Playa del Carmen, or nearby towns:
There is constant public transportation (buses, colectivos, and taxis).
You can get here without any problem, as Aldea Yakunah has direct access from the highway, making it reachable by all types of public and private transportation.

The cabins and traditional palapas have been built in harmony with nature using local materials from the surrounding jungle, including regional hardwoods and traditional guano palm leaf roofs, following ancestral building techniques that have been used in this region for generations. Rather than luxury in the conventional sense, the space offers an organic and conscious experience, where nature itself becomes part of the home. My visit to the Aldea

I was here for a week and I was alone and I had the opportunity to try different medicine. This service is very personalized and intimate. Everything is made in a conscious and authentic way to the ancestors. There no big groupes it was just me and I felt at home. I was amazed by the energy of this jungle and this family is just amazing people living and caring for your well being at all time .
I was comfortable in my little temple that Kaan Ixin made for me. Little detail that make your stay even more profound. What’s to say about the food ! We have a master chef at the aldea. So much intention is put into all the dishes that was cooked. I had a wonderful experience and this will change my life for ever and I will and hope to come again. Love ❤️
