About this Retreat
Kaan Ixin is a spiritual guide, ceremonial facilitator and co-founder of Aldea Yakunah, a living sanctuary in the Mayan jungle of Mexico dedicated to healing, nature and ancestral wisdom.
Her path has been deeply connected to the study and practice of sacred medicines, energetic healing and spiritual integration. Through years of personal experience and service, Kaan has accompanied many people in processes of emotional healing, self-discovery and reconnection with their inner truth.
Together with her family, she has created Aldea Yakunah, a conscious jungle sanctuary where traditional medicine, nature and community come together to support personal transformation. The retreat space is built in harmony with the land and surrounded by the powerful energy of the tropical forest.

Pepe is deeply connected to the path of personal transformation and the work with ancestral medicines. For many years he was part of the corporate world, building his professional life within demanding business environments where the rhythm of the modern system shaped his daily life.
Over time, however, he began to feel a deeper inner calling that led him to question that way of living and to search for a path more aligned with nature, inner awareness, and spiritual purpose.
This search brought him closer to inner work and the wisdom of ancestral medicines, beginning a profound journey of learning, personal transformation and expansion of consciousness. Through the years he has been involved in ceremonial spaces and healing processes, developing a natural ability to care for the energy of the space and offer grounded support to those going through deep personal experiences.
Pepe’s presence is often described as calm, stable and protective. These qualities help create a safe and respectful environment for participants who come seeking clarity, healing and reconnection with themselves.
Eventually, life led him to make a radical decision: to leave behind the conventional path and create a life that was simpler, more conscious and deeply connected to the earth.
Together with his wife, Kaan Ixin, he chose to follow this vision and co-create Aldea Yakunah, a sanctuary in the heart of the jungle where today he and his family continue developing a life project dedicated to nature, awareness and the support of personal transformation processes.

The full moon has long been associated with emotional clarity, illumination and release. Under its light, participants are guided through a ceremonial space designed to support introspection, healing and personal transformation.
During this retreat participants receive conscious support before, during and after the ceremony. Prior to the gathering, guidance and preparation are shared so participants can arrive with clarity and intention. During the ceremony the space is held with care, respect and presence. The following morning an integration circle is offered to help participants process and understand their experience.
The retreat is intentionally kept small and intimate, allowing each participant to receive personal attention and support throughout their process. This helps create a safe, respectful and grounded environment where each person can move through their experience at their own rhythm.
