Luke DeStefano, IHP2 Co-founder, Ceremony Facilitator, Meditation & Breathwork Guide, Qi Gong Adept Luke is an Integrative Health Practitioner, plant medicine retreat facilitator, and ceremony guide, with over 20 years of experience in creating safe spaces for personal and collective healing. His service in the healing arts is guided by a passion for empowering individuals to discover the innate wisdom and untapped potential of their own body, mind, and spirit. In addition to his dedication to health and wellness, Luke serves as a psychedelic preparation and integration guide, ceremonial musician, Kambo facilitator, massage therapist, and breathwork guide. He is also an initiate of the Dharma Mountain lineage of Mahayana Buddhism. His passion for the sacred arts has led him to immersive studies in Thailand, Vietnam, China, Laos, Nepal, Costa Rica, and Mexico. Details of this retreat

Five quiet days at La Fuente, our adobe homestead in the hills above Valle de Bravo, built around rest and recovery. We host one or two guests at a time, so the house, the garden and the days are yours.

Each morning starts slowly, with breathwork or gentle movement under the pergola. Then a hyperbaric oxygen session: 100% oxygen at 2.0 ATA, seated in a roomy chamber with windows and built-in infrared panels. Afternoons are for the hand-built steam dome and the cold plunge, a walk on the land or a nap in the hammock. Three meals a day come from the garden and the local market.

Two massages and two one-on-one sessions with Alexa are part of the stay. Alexa holds an MA in Holistic Counseling; her sessions are somatic and unhurried, a place to look at what wore you down and what you want to take home. Luke, who has worked in integrative wellness for more than twenty years, runs the chamber and shapes the week with you.

From November to March the monarch butterflies winter in the forests near Valle de Bravo, and we're happy to help you plan a day trip to see them.

Before you arrive we do a short health screening, because hyperbaric oxygen isn't right for everyone. This is a wellness stay, not medical treatment, and there is no ceremony during the week.

Valle de Bravo is about two and a half hours by road from Mexico City. We can arrange a private car from the airport or your hotel.

Directions

La Fuente is in the hills just outside Valle de Bravo, about two and a half hours by road from Mexico City airport. We send the exact location once you book, and can arrange a private car from the airport or your hotel in the city.

Accommodation

Guests stay in the garden bungalow: a bedroom with a large bed, a sitting room and a private bathroom, with windows onto the land. Two people traveling together share the bungalow. Linens and towels are provided.

La Fuente is Luke and Alexa's adobe homestead in the hills above Valle de Bravo, a lake town two and a half hours from Mexico City. It's a working home, not a resort: a house and a guest bungalow on a wide lawn, a vegetable and herb garden, a pergola for morning movement, a hand-built steam dome, a cold plunge, a hyperbaric oxygen chamber with infrared panels, and hammocks under the trees. We host one or two guests at a time, so it stays quiet.
