Luke DeStefano, IHP2 Co-founder, Ceremony Facilitator, Meditation & Breathwork Guide, Qi Gong Adept Luke is an Integrative Health Practitioner, plant medicine retreat facilitator, and ceremony guide, with over 20 years of experience in creating safe spaces for personal and collective healing. His service in the healing arts is guided by a passion for empowering individuals to discover the innate wisdom and untapped potential of their own body, mind, and spirit. In addition to his dedication to health and wellness, Luke serves as a psychedelic preparation and integration guide, ceremonial musician, Kambo facilitator, massage therapist, and breathwork guide. He is also an initiate of the Dharma Mountain lineage of Mahayana Buddhism. His passion for the sacred arts has led him to immersive studies in Thailand, Vietnam, China, Laos, Nepal, Costa Rica, and Mexico. Details of this retreat

A private Bufo alvarius and 5-MeO-DMT retreat for one couple at a time, at La Fuente, our adobe homestead above Valle de Bravo. One ceremony morning, a full integration day, and nothing else on the calendar.

Ceremonies use two forms of the medicine: the vaporized pure molecule (5-MeO-DMT) for gentler, more precise somatic work, and Bufo alvarius for medium to full release. There is no standard dose. The dose is talked through with each of you before the ceremony, and nobody goes further than they've agreed to.

You journey one at a time. While one of you sits with the medicine, the other can stay close and witness, if you both want that, or rest in the garden. Many couples find that being seen in that state, and seeing the person they love there, is part of the work.

Before you travel we have a free intro call, a medical review for each of you, and an online preparation call. The day after the ceremony is for integration: somatic work, the steam dome and cold plunge, and a session with Alexa, together, to begin bringing what you met into the life you share.

$1,500 for the two of you. This medicine isn't for everyone: a history of psychosis, some heart conditions, and SSRIs, MAOIs or lithium are contraindications, and our intake will tell you honestly if it isn't right for you. Please don't book flights until your retreat is confirmed.

Sacred Counsel does not administer, supply or handle any controlled substances. Ceremonies are held by independent facilitators operating under local law; we hold the preparation, the container and the integration.

Schedule

Day 1: arrival, an orientation circle, dinner and the steam dome
Day 2: morning practice, then the ceremony before breakfast; rest and a slow afternoon
Day 3: integration day, with a couples session with Alexa and somatic work
Day 4: breakfast and departure

La Fuente is in the hills just outside Valle de Bravo, about two and a half hours by road from Mexico City airport. We send the exact location once you book, and can arrange a private car from the airport or your hotel in the city.

Accommodation

Guests stay in the garden bungalow: a bedroom with a large bed, a sitting room and a private bathroom, with windows onto the land. Two people traveling together share the bungalow. Linens and towels are provided.

La Fuente is Luke and Alexa's adobe homestead in the hills above Valle de Bravo, a lake town two and a half hours from Mexico City. It's a working home, not a resort: a house and a guest bungalow on a wide lawn, a vegetable and herb garden, a pergola for morning movement, a hand-built steam dome, a cold plunge, a hyperbaric oxygen chamber with infrared panels, and hammocks under the trees. We host one or two guests at a time, so it stays quiet.
