Clarity & Purpose Retreat – Amazonian Healing Journey

10-Day Retreat: May 12–21, 2026

Inca Shipiba is a healing center led by a Shipibo family in the heart of the Amazon Rainforest near Nauta, Peru. Guided by Maestra Matilde, the retreat follows the Shipibo tradition of plant medicine, honoring ancestral knowledge while offering it in a grounded, respectful, and safe way.

This retreat is designed for those seeking clarity, direction, and deeper understanding of their life path. Away from distractions, the Amazon provides a powerful environment to reset the mind, reconnect with yourself, and gain insight into personal challenges and decisions. Over 10 days, participants are guided through preparation, ceremonial work, and integration, supporting a process of inner alignment and purposeful transformation.

You will take part in a master plant dieta, a traditional process that supports deep physical, emotional, and spiritual work. Each participant’s journey is unique, and Maestra Matilde will select a teacher plant according to your process and readiness.

Some of the plants we work with include:

Bobinsana – emotional healing and heart opening
Ajo Sacha – cleansing and strengthening the energetic body
Chiric Sanango – grounding, resilience, and courage
Uña de Gato (Cat’s Claw) – purification and physical support
Noya Rao – clarity and spiritual alignment
Ayahuma – protection and inner strength
Chuchuhuasi – vitality and grounding
Toe (Brugmansia) – a powerful teacher plant, used under strict supervision

The retreat begins with a tobacco purification ritual, an essential foundation in Amazonian medicine. For those who feel called, kambo may also be offered as an optional cleansing practice before deeper ceremonial work.

Ayahuasca ceremonies follow the Shipibo tradition, held in darkness and guided by icaros, sacred healing songs sung by Maestra Matilde, Maestra Sarita, and Maestro Wilson. These ceremonies create a space for deep introspection, emotional release, and insight, helping participants reconnect with their inner direction and sense of purpose.

This retreat is intended for individuals ready to engage in sincere inner work. It is especially supportive for those navigating life transitions, uncertainty, emotional challenges, or a desire for greater clarity and direction, as well as for those with prior plant medicine experience who wish to deepen their path through a structured and traditional dieta.

At Inca Shipiba, we provide a safe and respectful environment where participants can work with the sacred plants of the Amazon while supporting the preservation of Shipibo wisdom and tradition.
