About this Retreat
Joann Mallett aka Nurse Jo is a Mental Health Nurse, Psychedelic Guide, Mentor, Teacher, Speaker & Consultant, across a range of settings within naturalistic environments, education and research. Jo was a guide at the Centre for Psychedelic Research at Imperial College London, on studies for Eating Disorders and Chronic Pain. She is currently involved with the upcoming Opioid Addiction study as an advisor and the curator of the musical backdrop that will be used during the trial. Jo is a founding member of the Fellowship of Psychonauts, a multidisciplinary community of practice and an alliance of intention. Who provide training and support in the practical skills of psychedelic space holding, within a vibrant community. Jo is committed to democratisation of safe, effective, psychedelic experiences. Jo celebrates the skills, values and practices of nursing, believing these have direct relevance to psychedelic caregiving.

Jo has recently curated the playlist for the upcoming Psilocybin for Opioid addiction trial at Imperial College London.

From your initial contact, Nurse Jo and her team will guide you through every stage of your journey. Starting with a connection call, with Jo, to see if this experience is a good fit for you.
This will be followed by a comprehensive screening process, conducted by Jo and a Medical Doctor. Both who have extensive experience in the psychedelic space, within research and naturalistic environments.
Once onboard, based on the information provided in your screening form, an appropriate member of the multidisciplinary team will arrange an online individual session. Here you will discuss your individual needs, desires and intentions for the retreat.

Working with high ratios of facilitators to participants, Nurse Jo's facilitation team for this retreat, has expertise in many modalities.
