About this Retreat

Details of this retreat

The Dark Goddess Retreat is a three-day, trauma-informed immersion designed for women and female-identifying beings seeking deeper connection with their bodies, self-trust, and inner authority.

Held at Valaterra Retreat Center, this retreat offers a grounded, supportive container where myth, embodiment, and reflection meet. Through guided discussion, gentle somatic awareness, creative exploration, breathwork, sound, and communal integration, participants are invited into a journey into the shadow heart — learning to listen to the body instead of fighting it.

Rather than bypassing discomfort, this work honors it as meaningful information. Together, we explore how suppressed emotion, conditioned patterns, and inherited beliefs live in the body, and how awareness, choice, and presence can restore regulation and clarity. All practices are optional, paced with care, and designed to support nervous system safety and self-agency.

The retreat weaves archetypal themes of the Dark Goddess through educational dialogue and embodied inquiry, alongside moments of rest, reflection, and connection. Optional one-on-one Reiki sessions and oracle readings are available for those seeking additional insight and integration.

Evenings include shared meals, conscious indulgence, and symbolic experiences that honor personal sovereignty, closing with a Queen’s Feast and coronation — a reflective acknowledgment of the wisdom gathered throughout the weekend.

This retreat is not about fixing what is broken.
It is about remembering how to listen.
To the body.
To truth.
To what has been waiting to be acknowledged.
