About this Retreat

Details of this retreat

This 11-day journey brings together two deeply respected ceremonial traditions within a carefully held container designed for profound healing, reflection and transformation.

Guided by Wixárika elder and Marakame Santos Makuieika, alongside an experienced Ayahuasca facilitator and our dedicated support team, this retreat offers the rare opportunity to experience ancestral ceremonies carried with authenticity, integrity and deep respect for their traditions.

Across eleven days, participants are gently guided through two Peyote ceremonies, two Ayahuasca ceremonies, Kambo, Rapé, two traditional Temazcal ceremonies, herbal bathing rituals, Indigenous teachings, integration circles and daily practices that help prepare the body, calm the mind and support the unfolding process.

The retreat has been intentionally designed with spaciousness at its heart. Between ceremonies there is time to rest, reflect, journal, receive bodywork, walk through the rainforest, swim beneath waterfalls, and simply allow each experience to settle before moving into the next.

Throughout the journey, Marakame Santos Makuieika shares teachings, stories, songs and traditional rituals that have been passed down through generations, offering participants a deeper understanding of the ceremonial path beyond the medicine itself.

Every guest is supported throughout the retreat by an experienced facilitation team within a trauma-informed environment that prioritises safety, respect and individual care. Before arrival, every participant completes a detailed health screening and preparation process to ensure the retreat is appropriate for them.

More than a series of ceremonies, this retreat is an invitation to slow down, reconnect with yourself, with nature, and with ancient traditions that continue to offer wisdom for the modern world.
