In the Tai Chi Qigong retreat, participants experience a combination of gentle movements, breathing techniques, and meditation that harmonize body, mind, and spirit. The 10 forms of Tai Chi Qi Gong combine the flowing movements of martial arts such as Tai Chi with the healing effects of Qigong. This unique combination not only creates relaxation but also strengthens inner and outer balance during the holiday.
The retreat takes place in German language.

Taoist meditations lead into a “Qi Gong state,” a deep state of calm and self-healing that is often regarded in traditional Chinese medicine as the foundation of holistic well-being. These practices help the body optimize energy flow and restore balance. Exercises such as “Turning the Light” and the “Small Heavenly Energy Cycle” promote energetic balance and inner vitality. A self-massage revitalizes the senses, improves skin health, and supports life energy. This Qigong allows you to relax and recharge with energy in less than 20 minutes—perfect for leaving everyday life behind and combining your holiday with soothing relaxation.

The idyllic surroundings provide ideal conditions for an intensive yet restorative experience. Our teaching combines classical movement arts with modern knowledge for sustainable health and well-being.

Schedule

The daily schedule is designed to promote a balance between practice, free time, and relaxation:

07:30–08:30: Tai Chi Qigong (healing breathing and body exercises) – group practice in silence with Dimitris.
08:30–09:30: Breakfast.
10:00–12:00: Instruction and practice of Tai Chi Qigong exercises with Dimitris.
12:30–18:00: Free time for relaxation, swimming, or visiting the beach.
18:00–19:30: Relaxation exercises and meditation with Lina.
19:45–21:00: Shared dinner.

Directions

There are scheduled and charter flights to Thessaloniki from several cities in Germany, Austria, and Switzerland.
Arrival and departure are each on Saturdays.

The shared transfer from Thessaloniki Airport is included in the price.
It takes place on the specified dates for arrivals at Thessaloniki Airport before 4:00 PM and departures from 11:00 AM. For departures after 4:00 PM, there may be a longer waiting time at the airport.

The journey from Thessaloniki to Kalamos/Pilion passes through the fertile plains of Thessaly and the famous Tempi Valley at the foot of Mount Olympus.

The transfer is carried out by taxi or minibus. Duration: approx. 3.5 hours (including a 20-minute break).
Several transfers take place throughout the day.

Additional and private transfers can also be arranged by us.
The transfer costs vary depending on the chosen mode of transport, ranging between €110 (taxi–public bus–taxi) and €300 (direct by taxi).

It is also possible to travel via Italy by ferry to Igoumenitsa and then continue by bus to Volos.

Accommodation

Our guests stay in quiet, comfortable rooms surrounded by nature, many of them with beautiful views of the sea. The accommodations are simple, authentic, and thoughtfully designed to create an atmosphere of calm, clarity, and relaxation. Each room has its own balcony or terrace, where you can enjoy nature, the fresh sea air, and the unique stillness of the surroundings. The natural environment and proximity to the sea support the process of rest and invite you to slow down and recharge. The rooms are bright and welcoming, equipped with everything needed for a comfortable stay, and offer a protected space for retreat, rest, and regeneration during the retreat.

Our facility, with a taverna and practice space, is surrounded by beautiful olive, lemon, and orange trees. It is located on a fine pebble beach with clear, calm water.

Practice takes place on two wooden platforms in the middle of an idyllic olive grove, in the indoor seminar room, on the beach, or on the terrace.

Menu Types

Freshly prepared vegetarian Mediterranean cuisine with regional ingredients, local olive oil, fresh vegetables, fruits, and herbs. Vegetarian and vegan options are available.

What's Not Included

  • Flight costs (arrival and departure) are not included in the price and are organized by the participants themselves.
  • Lunch is not included, allowing everyone to use their free time individually.
  • Guided hikes are offered twice a week and are optional. Participation is possible for an additional fee.
  • Massages are optionally available during the stay and can be booked and paid for individually on site to further support relaxation and recovery.
