If you are looking for a safe, high-quality, transformational, life-changing & profoundly healing medicine journey experience, MexiSoul is the place for you.
I met Krista at the first retreat I went to at MexiSoul (which is everything they claim and so much more- I would recommend watch testimonial videos on their website-there are hundreds-you can really get a feel for what the experience there, is like). From our first interaction, I knew I was in the presence of someone who had done her own work and was able to create and hold space for me and my healing. While I am careful not to pedestal people, she isn't someone who I would be inclined to do that to. Because she is so real. She is a woman who completely embodies authenticity and therefor offers a clear mirror for others to do the hard work of seeing their own authentic selves. After my time with Krista at my first retreat (she was supporting, but not leading that retreat) I knew I wanted to come back and experience a retreat that she was leading, with her medicine of choice, psilocybin. I'm glad I followed through on that promise to myself. What I personally appreciate about Krista, is that she doesn't offer a lot "noise" or excessive input during the ceremonies, she gets out of the way and instead, creates a container that is big enough, clear enough, and safe enough that allows for YOUR journey to emerge, unfold, and that allows for whatever is meant for you. To me, she is a magician of sorts, an alchemist who embodies, creates and offers a potent and powerful journey space. I trust her completely, and most importantly, in her presence, I trust myself. Her life story is one that lends to being a person that many can relate to and and draw inspiration from. If you have an opportunity to sit in ceremony with Krista, you should do it, as it is a great honor and privilege to do so.

If you are looking for a safe, high-quality, transformational, life-changing & profoundly healing medicine journey experience, MexiSoul is the place for you.
I rarely write reviews, but it feels like a must for MexiSoul, because I know how hard it can be to choose a space/place to do this important, but vulnerable and brave work. It can be hard to trust what you read online, what you see, etc. I think reviews are part of how you can get a better sense of a place and the experience it is offering. So, I'm going to share for those reasons. I completed my second retreat (psilocybin with Krista) in February. My first retreat there was an Ayahuasca retreat last March. Prior to my experiences at MexiSoul, I had fear and significant reservations about doing medicine in general, but also in a group/with others, and also in a foreign country with strangers I'd never met. My so glad I took the leap, because both the retreats were truly life changing. They were profoundly healing and transformational and it turns out that doing medicine with others, is just as powerful as the medicine itself. MexiSoul and ALL of their staff are incredible. They create and offer and extremely safe, loving, warm, professional, beautiful and supportive environment, in which to do this hard, vulnerable and yet powerful and beautiful work. It would be hard to speak to all of what you will experience at MexiSoul and all that they offer- the actual medicine journeys being just one part of all that they provide for and offer each guest. The finca itself is a very special place, the food is healthy, treaty and delicious and prepared with intention; the live music and the magical musicians themselves; all the servers (the people who show up as pure love to help support you through the medicine ceremonies). In addition, there are many different types of ceremonies and practices/workshops that are offered in addition the the medicine ceremonies, that complement and elevate the already profound experience. They also offer professional preparation and integration of the medicine journeys during and after the retreat. MexiSoul checks ALL of the boxes, and then some. Plus, from my research, it is much more affordable than comparative experiences, and offer more for what they charge. I've sent friends and family and everyone has had a similar experience to what I've shared here. On their website, they have hundreds of video testimonials, I would suggest checking them out, because you start to get the picture that this place, IS what they say they are. Last thing I'll say, is that I've appreciated the wide variety of humans who shop up at these retreats as participants, they are not who I would have guessed, not your "usual suspects" doing more new age healing work. There is a wide variety of ages, ethnicities, cultural backgrounds, belief systems, nationalities, genders, etc.
I have a gained a great deal from sharing this experience with people who I perceived were very different from me. It was quite valuable. If you are looking to have a transformational and healing medicine experience...you've found the place.

An awesome heart-opening experience
Everyone at the retreat was awesome, including the participants and specially the staff. You could feel the care and support they give out to us, when we were struggling or whatever we needed, they would help us out, made us feel safe and supported. The space is surrounded by nature and animals, the food is healthy and tasty, and the massages Gaby gives are the best I've ever gotten! Would totally go back, a learning exlkefience.

An Experience Beyond Words
My experience at Mexisoul Retreat was nothing short of life-changing.

I participated in both the Ayahuasca and Psilocybin retreats, and what I encountered there went far beyond what I expected. The ceremonies were profound, deeply introspective, and transformative. There were moments of intensity, moments of surrender, moments of clarity — and through all of it, I felt supported, protected, and genuinely cared for.

The Ayahuasca ceremonies allowed me to confront parts of myself I had long avoided, bringing deep emotional release, forgiveness, and a renewed sense of purpose. The Psilocybin journey was equally powerful in a different way — expansive, heart-opening, and filled with insight. Together, these experiences helped me reconnect with myself on a level that words can barely describe.

A very special thank you to Ruger, the Director, for his incredible support both before and during the retreat. From the very first interaction, he created a sense of trust and safety. His leadership, organization, and presence made it clear that this retreat is guided with integrity and genuine care.

To Humberto Alcala, our Shaman — your guidance was extraordinary. The way you hold ceremony, the strength and wisdom you bring, and the spiritual protection you create within the space made it possible for me to fully surrender to the process. Your presence carries depth, experience, and authenticity.

Krita Wismann, thank you for holding space for me to feel safe. Your compassion, attentiveness, and gentle strength allowed me to move through difficult moments with courage. I will never forget the care you offered.

To the beautiful staff — Alma, Gaby, Charlie, Liberty, and Augusto — you are the heart of this retreat. From the smallest details to the biggest logistical needs, you made everything flow seamlessly. The way you care for participants, guide them when they need assistance, and support the ceremonies with love and professionalism is truly remarkable.

And to Marina Melgarejo, thank you for sharing Finca El Pendulo — such a sacred and powerful space. The land itself holds healing energy. Being immersed in nature there amplified the entire experience. It is a place that allows transformation to unfold naturally.

Mexisoul is not just a retreat. It is a container for healing, growth, and deep human connection. I arrived with questions, emotional weight, and uncertainty. I left with clarity, gratitude, and a softened heart.

If you are seeking a safe, well-held, authentic experience with plant medicine, guided by a team that truly honors the sacredness of the work, Mexisoul is a place I wholeheartedly recommend.

I carry all of you in my heart.
