- On this day, we have the special opportunity to sing O Cruzeiro Universal, the full hinário of Mestre Raimundo Irineu Serra, the founder of the Santo Daime tradition. Consisting of 132 hymns, this sacred songbook carries the foundational teachings, spiritual transmission and life mission of Mestre Irineu.
- What is it to sing a Hinário?
- In the Daime, to sing the hinários of the leaders of the church—of which Mestre Irineu is seminal and foundational—is to enter into the living current of this tradition, where the mappings, teachings, and direction of the Daime are still unfolding today.
- To sing the hinário is to gather at the feet of the master and let his lessons sing through you. It is an act of active and concentrated mysticism, where one steps onto the path he walked, receiving the transmission of his teachings in a direct and embodied manner allowing one to receive the lineage, the wisdom and healing along the way.
- This work is open to all who feel called to participate. However, it is recommended that you have prior experience with us, our space, the Daime, or other traditions that work with the sacrament, as this will help you navigate the depth and structure of the work.
- The ceremony will last approximately 10 hours from start to finish, including a break in the middle and ending with the formation of the dance for the last hymns.
- Our special guest who will be leading the work carries more than 25 years experience following the life of Mestre and holds a rich tapestry of knowledge of the story of each song along the way.
- He will be accompanied by the musicians of the Forest Path to interpret the musical atmosphere in a concise way.
- We aim to begin at 2pm with a 1pm arrival.
- BRING: Water bottle, extra layer of warmth and snacks for the intermission
- WEAR: All white

Venue & Amenities
Casa Floresta is on Lake Atitlan and is currently under construction. This will be the future home of the Forest Path Temple where future courses and ceremonies will be held exclusively in Guatemala.
To arrive, take the boat from San Marcos in the direction of Panajachel and be sure to tell the driver Casa Floresta Pasajcap (or Casa Colibri Pasajcap if you plan to be accommodated at Casa Colibri) before you get on the boat, as it will be the first stop. Life changing Retreat
From the time of arrival to the end of the four day immersion the beautiful Forest Path team led by Jaya and Hayley ,guided and supported the attendees to ensure we were safe and informed to confidently recieve the gift of learning that we so needed. The ecletic group of people from the four corners of the world embraced the experience and the personal interactions were truly uplifting to us all, me especially, thank you very much.
The food was amazing. nourishing and well balanced , ensuring the group felt strong to pursue their individual journeys for the entirety of the retreat.
Everyday was different, stimulating ourselves to work towards our own outcomes.
Integration day was a very unique experience abundant food, great conversations, yoga, massages, sauna,singing, swimming and most of all smiles , love and laughter.
This has been the best week of growth and learning i could have wished for.

Incredible to say the least!
This was my first time sitting with aya and I can not even begin to explain how incredible it was for me. This retreat absolutely exceeded my expectations. The guides are fully involved and supportive throughout the full experience during and after each ceremony. The community, the food, the team, and the whole stay was honestly unbelievable. I feel grateful to have learned all that I did and to gained so much clarity that I will be able to integrate into my life going forward. It has been a lot to live in this world at this time. It's easy to lose hope and feel like there is more wrong than there is right.
