4 Week Certified Yoga Teacher Training Course
Kranti Yoga is delighted to offer a 300 hour Yoga Teacher Training in Vinyasa Flow and Ashtanga Adjustments. This is an advanced Yoga Teacher Training Course (YTTC) and follows on from the 200 hour YTTC. It is for those students who have already graduated in any Yoga Alliance registered 200 hour YTTC and would like to deepen practice and develop new skills as a yoga teacher.
Our 300 hour Yoga Teacher Training in Vinyasa Flow and Ashtanga Adjustments is an intensive course that presents a fusion of traditional and contemporary thinking in a fun and progressive environment. If you would like to complete an advanced 300 Hour Yoga TTC in Goa and enjoy some quality beach time in Goa, this is the course for you.
Course Objectives
Develop a practice of Vinyasa Flow, Pranayama and Meditations.
Learn how to adjust postures from The Ashtanga Primary Series.
Understand the role of the myofascial connections and the body’s natural bio-tensegrity
Explore the concept of functional movement and its role in contemporary yoga
Study a new sequencing framework for Vinyasa Flow classes as demonstrated by the Kranti Yoga
Discuss Patanjali’s Yoga Sutras with reference to modern philosophical thinking
Vinyasa Flow
Vinyasa Flow allows the body to move fluidly with the breath, flowing continuity from posture to posture. On alternate days, you will be taken on a physical and spiritual journey to achieve a challenging peak posture. The classes will demonstrate our sequencing framework which will then be further explored in Teaching Methodology where you will sequence your own classes. These classes aim to be an example of contemporary yoga as taught in studios today. Classes will incorporate dynamic stretches, myofascial release techniques and functional movement to compliment traditional alignment that will be acquired through knowledge of the Primary Series.
Pranayama and Meditation
This class takes place daily after asana practice. Each week, our breath coach will guide you through new techniques, encouraging you to develop this mindful and spiritual practice. Meditation techniques will include traditional Mantra Chanting at dawn, Breathwork, Chakra Meditation and more.
Ashtanga Yoga and Adjustments
Students will develop a strong practice of Ashtanga Yoga while you study how to adjust each of these postures. Students will learn The Primary Series through a series of Ashtanga Yoga Led Classes and Self-Practices on alternate mornings. The daily Adjustments Workshop will provide the opportunity to learn and practice your alignment and adjustments on each other. Students will then adjust peers in selected morning practices. The adjustments of some popular Vinyasa Flow postures will also be explored.
Functional Movement
Functional Movement is now an integral feature of contemporary yoga. Students will be encouraged to explore movements beyond the traditions of Ashtanga Yoga. The articulation of the spine, moving through multiple planes, working on the diagonal of your mat, and primal movements, are all components of functional movement. If we go beyond the realms of singular plane movement, we can gain increased strength, flexibility, and range of motion. Functional Movement can also be an excellent means of injury prevention. This is modern yoga, and at Kranti Yoga we are embracing it.
Anatomy Seminars
This module will include a review of the skeletal muscular system from the 200 hour YTTC curriculum and provide the fundamentals to understanding contemporary anatomy as outlined by our 300 hr Yoga Teacher Training Course. Students will review origin, insertion, functionality, and physiology of muscles. This module will look in detail at the anatomy of the shoulder, the hip, spine, and knee joint; with emphasis on developing a safe but challenging practice for yourself and your students.
Myofascia Release Workshops
Students will learn how to stretch and strengthen mindfully and with integrity. Techniques will include Yin Yoga, PNF and Trigger Point Yoga. For many different reasons, the fascial connections within the body get sticky, bringing about stiffness which can prevent access to postures. Stretching and strengthening techniques can help break down adhesions and promote better hydration of the body. This can have a positive effect on a range of motion and mobility.
These classes will take place in a workshop format and students will work within the realms of the integrated body: studying the Superficial Front Line (for backbends); Superficial Back Line (for forward folds); Lateral Lines (for deep twists and Lotus Pose); Back Arm Lines (for shoulder stability).
Vinyasa Flow Teaching Methodology
The aim of this module is to advance your teaching skills and understand how we sequence our classes at Kranti Yoga. Students will create a dynamic Vinyasa Flow Class that will achieve a peak posture through traditional alignment, dynamic stretching, myofascia release techniques, and functional movement. Students will also learn how to teach a class on multiple levels so that students of all abilities are challenged sufficiently in every class. Assessment of this module will be through Peer Teaching which will facilitate a sharing of each other’s ideas. The module is linked to the Vinyasa Flow Classes from morning practice.
Technical workshops
These workshops are delivered in order to share our practice at Kranti Yoga. On the 300 YTTC, we have devised a series of workshop that will really allow you to advance your physical practice, achieving some of the more challenging postures of Vinyasa Flow. These workshops are 90 minutes long and will take place at the end of the day as your final daily practice. Workshops include: Shoulder Stability; Functional Movement; Inversions; Arm Balances; Myofascia Release; Backbending, Transitions.
Yoga Philosophy
Students will explore the fundamental concepts of Patanjali’s Yoga Sutras. This module will guide students to explore different translations and interpretations, looking at the evolution of the commentaries over time. The module will encourage debates on how the mind has evolved through the ages and how we might consider the Yoga Sutras in contemporary society. This module will also include a brief introduction of Ayurveda.
Evening Activities
These will include Bedtime Yin Yoga, Thai Massage, Ecstatic Dancing, Moonlight/Candlelight Meditation, Yoga Movie Nights, Drumming Circle, Beach Bonfire.

Students will be expected to pass the following assessments:
