My psychedelic journey started 9 years ago with my first psilocybin session.
It has lead me on a journey of personal growth in which I overcame my depression, healed my childhood trauma and conquered addictions. Fueled by my personal transformation I founded Alegria Retreats together with Nuria to support people on their psychedelic journeys.
I travelled to Brazil to learn from indigenous tribes ( Huni Kuin) about their ancestral knowledge of working with plant medicines and integrate these methods & healing chants with the therapeutic applications of the western world.
Certified Hypnotherapist, certified reiki practitioner and I am currently completing the Trauma Informed Care (TIC) certification. Im a meditation practitioner since 9 years and I have been studying somatic movement since 20 years.
I have accompanied and coached high performance athletes, entrepreneurs and people from all walks of life on their journey to healing and self-actualisation.
Alegria Retreats bridges ancient wisdom with the modern zeitgeist to create an unique safe space in which people can feel safe, held, and seen.
We believe that everyone carries the answers within and that the healing of each individual human being contributes to the healing of the world.
🍀Nuria has been pursuing a special passion for conscious nutrition, natural medicine and a holistic lifestyle for over 10 years. Her journey with shamanic medicinal plants began in 2017, where she was able to learn about the potential of psilocybin as a guide in numerous sessions.
Since then, she has personally had healing and incredible transformational experiences with entheogens and has dedicated herself to her mission of supporting people in their growth processes.
She has participated in ceremonies with the Yawanawa, Varinawa and Huni Kuin tribes in Brazil, where she learned the indigenous approach to "spiritual medicine." She specializes in her work on the body level and brings with her a wealth of experience on the topic of clearing blockages and emotions trapped in the body.
During the retreat, she supports the participants in an intuitive way with elements from breathwork, massage, body alignment, TRE and other somatic approaches.
Sinja's journey toward helping others began with a deep desire to make a meaningful impact. Realizing that the traditional school environment and teaching role weren’t her true path, she embarked on a transformative adventure traveling to various countries in search of herself and her true purpose. This journey led her to explore diverse cultures, complete her yoga teacher training, and earn her Reiki Level 1 certification.
Through her work with psilocybin, Sinja effectively addressed her anxiety and brought greater harmony to her nervous system. The integration of microdosing further uplifted her outlook on life, nurtured self-love, and deepened her passion for holistic health and spirituality.
These transformative experiences inspired her to empower women to heal themselves, embrace their power, and step into their purpose while also educating about the profound potential of microdosing.
At Alegria Retreats, Sinja serves as a facilitator, guiding individuals through their personal processes. She also manages retreat logistics and handles much of the behind-the-scenes work to ensure a seamless retreat experience.
Stanley is a Performance Expert, Business owner and transformational coach, specializing in Energy Work.
Teaching his concept of „Holistic Life-Design“ he has served numerous business owners to balance their material and spiritual identity. His coaching style focuses on personal breakthroughs & expanding consciousness.
In the last 5 years more than 700x Attendees at his workshops and seminars benefited from the tools and frameworks he provides for living a more free & conscious life.
Currently he is studying therapeutic work as his motivation to serve is helping seekers navigating their growth processes and individual meta morphosis.
His function in Alegria Retreats is that of a Spaceholder and Integration Coach. With his grounded presence he serves our participants with clarity, emphathy and calmness to guide them through their emotional processes.
As a student of life he is always looking for connections in topics of science, religion, spirituality and philosophy to create a well rounded picture of how humans function and what life is about. Plant medicine helped him gain a deeper understanding of these topics and has helped him to deal with childhood trauma and in understanding his life path.

My background is in (neuro)psychology and I studied the effects of meditation on the brain as part of my PhD at the Vrije University of Amsterdam. To this day, I conduct scientific studies on meditation, breathwork, and psychedelics.
Personally, I've been deeply immersed in traditional meditation and healing traditions, as well as modern integrative body-centered psychotherapy and psychedelics. I am working as a freelance psychologist and process facilitator (with and without psychedelics).
As an empath I have walked many paths myself.
I love to be present and hold space to allow real transformation and honest change. At Alegria Retreats I am responsible for the psychological screening process, being a facilitator at the ceremonies and supporting our participants in their integration process after their psychedelic experience.

we are excited and honoured to invite you to out upcoming Natural Wisdom Retreat conducted by highly regarded healers and Txanas of the Huni Kuin tribe. Tuim Nova Era is a chief and spiritual leader of the Huni Kuin people at Espelho da Vida village in the Huni Kuin indigenous lands at the Humaita River, Acre, Brazilian Amazon. We have the honour of welcoming him and his daughter Yeke Kaya to hold traditional ceremonies and share their teachings and culture in the Netherlands.
With the sacred force of Nixi Pãe (Ayahuasca) and other medicines such as Kambo, Sananga and Rapé we will go through a very powerful process of healing, cleansing, personal growth, celebration & joy.
Together with our team we will co-create a safe space for you to dive deep into yourself so that you can connect on a profound level with what the medicine Nixi Pãe has to teach you.
ABOUT THE HUNI KUIN
The Huni Kuin people, or "True People", as they call themselves, mainly inhabit Brazilian lands in the tropical Amazon, in the state of Acre, but their territories extend to the foot of the Andes in eastern Peru. They speak Hãtxa Kuin ("true language") of the Pano linguistic family and live in a bilingual reality, with Portuguese or Spanish as a second language.
During the time of the exploitation of rubber and latex in the Amazon, hundreds of indigenous people were enslaved. Due to the prohibition of their language and culture, they continued to practice in secret their sacred rituals, drinking Nixi Pãe and singing their sacred songs until today. The spiritual practices and healing sessions with their plant medicines are of immense importance to their worldview.
After generations of struggles, the Huni Kuin (Kaxinawá) Indigenous Land of Rio Jordão was finally approved in 1991 and they are again the true owners of their land. This new era connected them with new ways of organizing and claiming their needs for sustainability. And you are part of this amazing movement!
Nowadays the Huni Kuin people are traveling all over the world as messengers of the forest, reconnecting mankind and mother nature by sharing their spiritual practices, songs, arts and medicines.
ABOUT TUIM NOVA ERA
Tuim comes from an ancestral lineage of great shamans and txanas and has been giving profound teachings in forest medicine outside his village for over 23 years. He considers himself as an eternal humble student of the medicines and the prayers of his people. Tuim played a vital role in the recovery of his culture and is the founder of the center Espelho da Vida Institude (hiwea kiri beisiti) wich studies traditional Huni Kuin medicines. His work has been encouraging all generations to study and re-connect with their roots.
ABOUT YEKE KAYA
Yeke Kaya is the daughter of Tuim Nova Era. She is gifted in her musical talent and has been studying the sacred chants and prayers from the Huni Kuin people since a young age. She has an amazing healing voice and is an expert in creating jewelry, art and body painting with kenes.

ANTIDEPRESSANT MEDICATION RECOMMENDATION
Avoid antidepressants or medications for pain, anxiety, or mental health issues before engaging in our program. Certain medications, such as SSRIs used for depression, can diminish the effects of psychedelics. Prior consultation with your doctor or mental health advisor is essential, especially if using other psychiatric medications. We meticulously assess your mental and physical health through our screening process with a licensed psychologist and neuroscientist.
