As Co-Founder and CEO of Alegria Retreats, I am a purpose driven leader, dedicated to my mission to support people finding their way back home to themselfes. A strong curiousity about the fundamental questions of life has lead me on the path of psychedelics. In the last 9 years they have become a powerful ally in my personal evolution. They have helped me to heal trauma, reprogram negative patterns, deepen my spirituality and tap into my highest potential. I see our work as an act of service which I treat with integrity, humbleness and mindfulness while being aware of our big responsibility. I am dedicated to this work full-time and always researching and evolving with the times. Over the years I have deeply immersed myself in altered states of consciousness and studied a wide range of methods of „inner work“ like eastern spirituality, jungian psychology, hypnotherapy, neo-shamanism, NLP, parts work, meditation etc. I intuitively use these tools in combination with psilocybin to help you get to the root of your condition and activate your self healing mechanisms. Always taylored to your specific needs, preferences and pace. I consider myself a student of brazilian indigenous traditions that have teached me the importance of sound during a psychedelic journey. Playing music has become my main tool to support and deepen a profound experience. My clients say I have a grounding and reassuring presence which allows them to let go and surrender during a journey. I will give you the right impulses that allow you to get to the layers of the experience that create the most meaningful impact in your life. Hello I'm Nuria, I'm a trauma-informed coach, somatic guide, mother, and co-founder of Alegria Retreats. Through my extensive work in trauma healing and inner child integration I have developed a deep understanding of how early experiences shape our subconscious patterns and how we can rewrite them to create lasting change. For over 8 years, I have supported more than 200 people, on deep journeys of healing with sacred plant medicine, weaving together ancestral wisdom and modern therapeutic tools. My own path—from a challenging childhood to touring the world as a dancer and immersing in practices like Yoga, TRE, and Breathwork—taught me how to transform pain into strength & purpose. I’m here to help you gently release emotional and physical blockages, reconnect with your truth, and access the healing power that already lives within you. Before, during, and after ceremony, I offer a steady, nurturing presence—meeting you with softness, intuition, and strength when it's needed most. My work is grounded in compassion and guided by the belief that you are capable of deep, lasting transformation—supported by the ancestral teachings I’ve received from indigenous communities in Mesoamerica and Brazil. Through working with many different individuals on a holistic level, I find it fascinating that if you are willing to change and face your truth, it is possible to create a completely new life that feels more aligned with your values and potential.

As a Psychedelic facilitator I am deeply commited to guiding individuals through their personal transformations with psilocybin, helping them heal, reconnect with their bodies, and step into their fullest potential. As Alegria's admin assistant I will be in touch with you throughout the whole process and always available to answer your questions. I love being in service and before I could hold space for others, I had to walk this path myself: I first tried the conventional route - earning a master’s degree and pursuing teaching - only to realize it wasn’t where I belonged. My search for something deeper led me across the world, immersing myself in holistic healing, and ultimately to psychedelic medicine. These sacred plants allowed me to release anxiety, reconnect with my feminine energy, and step into a life of alignment, and self-love. With a background in education, yoga, reiki, and self-concept work, I integrate somatic practices and subconscious reprogramming to help others step into their power with clarity and confidence. As a facilitator, I bring a grounding presence that makes you feel safe, seen, and deeply supported even in challenging parts of the journey. From the first call to post-retreat integration, I hold space with warmth, patience, and a deep trust in your ability to thrive. My approach is intuitive and adaptable, guiding you through deep transformation while helping you rewrite old narratives and embrace lasting change. Dr. Mona Irrmischer

My background is in (neuro)psychology and I studied the effects of meditation on the brain as part of my PhD at the Vrije University of Amsterdam. To this day, I conduct scientific studies on meditation, breathwork, and psychedelics. Personally, I've been deeply immersed in traditional meditation and healing traditions, as well as modern integrative body-centered psychotherapy and psychedelics. I am working as a freelance psychologist and process facilitator (with and without psychedelics). As an empath I have walked many paths myself. I love to be present and hold space to allow real transformation and honest change. At Alegria Retreats I am responsible for the psychological screening process, being a facilitator at the ceremonies and supporting our participants in their integration process after their psychedelic experience.

My partner and I recently attended a psilocybin retreat with Alan and Louise (aka Lou) through Alegria, and it was an incredibly transformative and beautiful experience for us both. Dealing with stress, anxiety, and past hardships had been a constant struggle, but this retreat provided us with the tools and support needed to begin healing on a deep, emotional level.
