About this Retreat
Hi nice to meet you, I am Isa.
I am a certified trauma-informed somatic therapist, meditation, hatha yoga (hridaya) and tantra teacher. In addition, I also hold a master degree in biomedical engineering. With both my parents being medical doctors, I was exposed to healing from a very young age. I never subscribed to the approach of modern western medicine where the body is treated as a machine, and I was intuitively drawn to various fields of holistic healing.
Ever since I was a young child, I have been extremely sensitive and fascinated by exploring different worlds and states of consciousness. During my early twenties I dove deeply into various spiritual teachings. I worked in a meditation center and studied Advaita Vedanta, Kashmir Shaivism, Buddhism, Tantra, Zen, Sufism and Self-Enquiry. Meditation and Hatha Yoga are the main pillars of my spiritual practice and I have done over 20 silent meditation retreats.
My journey with the toad medicine began in 2019. I had already had experiences with 5-MeO-DMT through various solitary dark room meditation retreats. Shortly after a profound grace entered my life as I became the apprentice of a renowned medicine woman in Mexico.
Suffering has been one of my biggest teachers and a profound motivator on my journey. It is through the grace of suffering that I was able to tap into a courage and tremendous power within myself to reach new heights beyond anything I deemed possible.

This retreat is the perfect getaway to connect deeply with yourself, your inner wisdom, and with nature. This is a retreat for maximum 2 people so I will be fully there for you during your process at all times. We can also adapt the schedule to best suit your needs.
The retreat can be booked for 1 or 2 people (if you want to come with a friend or as a couple for example).

*SCHEDULE*
You will have 3 Private 1-on-1 Bufo Alvarius Ceremonies. The ceremonies will be in the morning. After this session, you are free to enjoy the rest of the day and integrate. We are located 7min walking from the beach so you can enjoy long beach walks and contemplation in nature. We will come together for integration right after the ceremony and in the afternoon. After the ceremonies, we will have one rest day fully focused on integration.

A Bufo AIvarius ceremony takes between 2 to 3 hours in total (preparation, ceremony, integration). During the ceremony, you are guided throughout the whole experience. All ceremonies are 1-on-1 and private. So I will be fully present for you and your process. There will be no other participants or people present.
Since all ceremonies are private, we can go at your pace and work with personalized doses.
I prepare the space physically and energetically beforehand. We then continue with some yogic exercises for the body and mind. If it is your first time, we will also practice the method of taking the medicine together, so you feel comfortable.
During the ceremony, I play live music from shamanic instruments and I sing to guide you and add to the magic.
*LOCATION*
My house is located in San Ausgustinillo (the town between Mazunte and Zipolite). We are in a quiet area and the house has a luscious private garden. We are walking distance from the ocean (7min) and the town (10min). If you want to get around and explore the area, you can take the collectivo (mexican buses) and the stop is 3min from the house. You can also choose to rent a scooter at additional cost.
The ceremonies are done in the garden under the Medicine Tree. This is an amazing location since it is completely private, safe, and in nature. This allows you to enjoy the connection and magic of nature during and after the ceremony. The resonance of nature's high vibration can clearly be felt when taking the medicine. Afterwards, you can go for a dip in the ocean to enjoy the echoes of the experience.
*HOW TO GET HERE*
You can fly into either Huatulco airport (HUX) or Puerto Escondido airport (PEM). Both airports are a 1h drive from my house. I can arrange for a taxi to pick you up and drop you off at the airport at an additional cost (around 1400 mxn pesos or 80USD per drive).
*ACCOMMODATION*
Accommodation is included in the price.
You will have your own private room with double bed and private bathroom. Both guest rooms areon the second floor of the house overlooking the jungle. You will have your own terrace with 2 hammocks, a big fridge and a kitchinette. We are in the jungle so you wake up to the singing of the birds and you can hear the crickets at night.
*FOOD*
Food is included in the price.
You will have fresh coconuts every day and yummy healthy meals that support your process. All meals are vegetarian.
We will have brunch, healthy afternoon snacks and dinner.

A bit more about bufo alvarius:
Bufo Alvarius is the most powerful entheogenic medicine known to mankind. The Sacred Medicine, given to us by toads from the Sonora Desert**, works in a very loving way and generates immense healing and spiritual elevation.
The dominant psycho-active compounds in the medicine are bufotenine and 5-MeO-DMT. 5-MeO-DMT (5-methoxy-dimethyltryptamine) is a natural neuro-transmitter in the human brain. We produce this molecule in small quantities every night when we are in our deepest and most regenerative phase of sleep.
