Breathwork is one of the most powerful tools available to all of us, and requires nothing more than our breath. Learning to use our breath to heal and release can be a deep transformational experience that goes beyond the imaginable. Changing the breathing pattern can bring health to all levels, and the most beautiful part is that you are in full control of the experience. Consciously changing the way you breathe appears to send a signal to the brain to adjust the parasympathetic branch of the nervous system, which can slow heart rate and digestion and promote feelings of calmness and safety.

THE EXPERIENCE:

Embark on a transformative journey with the power of your breath and learn how to navigate this practice for maximum benefits. This experience takes place in a safe and nurturing setting, allowing for personal growth and spiritual awakening. It includes preparation and integration, as well as the breathwork journey.

During the session, you will be supported by a Trauma-Informed Facilitator who provide physical contact, sound healing, singing, and various therapeutic techniques. The session typically lasts three hours. Expect to experience changes in perception, space-time, and thoughts during this immersive experience.

By engaging in this experience, you can cultivate self-awareness and support positive changes in your life and relationships. It is especially suited for individuals seeking to work on their shadow, understand patterns and behaviors, connect with their true selves, enhance their creativity, align themselves, heal past wounds, tap into their heart's wisdom, release blocked energy, reconnect with buried aspects of themselves, and make lasting positive changes.

WHAT TO EXPECT:

Throughout the Breathwork session we will work with the Conscious Connected Breathing Technique. Changing the breathing pattern can bring health to all levels, and the most beautiful part is that you are in full control of the experience. We will also practice other techniques that helps the process, such as toning and bodywork.

With the Toning Exercises we release the unconscious material we brought to the surface with the conscious connected breath, and we restore health to our vagus nerve. This nerve is one of the longest of the body and provides a communication pathway between the brain and vital organs in the body. Various factors can negatively impact the vagal tone – a term used to describe how well the vagus nerve works.

Poor vagal tone can result from:

- High stress
- Toxicity
- Poor diet
- Physical or emotional trauma
- Gut imbalance
- Other physical or emotional stressors

Maintaining vagal tone and restoring proper function when it’s under-performing are crucial for maintaining optimal health and well-being. With a healthy vagal tone you will experience:

DIET:

There are no dietary restrictions for participating in a Breathwork Session, but a vegan diet is recommended beforehand to energetically cleanse your body. It is advised to have an empty stomach (no food for 2 hours prior to the session) but not to be starving.

LOCATION:

You will be responsible for booking your own accommodation and the facilitator will come to your chosen location for the session. The sessions can be hosted in Amsterdam, Barcelona, Ibiza, Tenerife and Algarve. In case the session will be held at one of the partnered retreat centers, you are responsible for your transport to and back from the center.
