About this Retreat
Stacy McGinty has been practicing and teaching yoga for over 20 years. Practicing life on and off the mat is all about embodying the principles and mindfulness cultivated during yoga practice into everyday experiences. On the mat, Stacy encourages her students to listen to their inner voice, connecting with the breath, and moving in a way that feels good to the body. This practice of tuning into oneself, honoring one’s body, and finding balance can be extended beyond the mat. Off the mat, it’s about staying present, listening to our intuition, and treating ourselves and others with kindness and compassion. In vinyasa flow, restorative yoga, and meditation, Stacy’s emphasis on finding moments of clarity and stillness within the pose teaches students to cultivate inner peace and resilience. This can be translated into daily life by finding moments of stillness amidst the chaos, whether it’s through meditation, mindful breathing, or simply taking a pause to appreciate the present moment. Stacy’s influences, including Jason Crandell, Janet Stone, Tara Brach, and Jack Kornfield, likely inspire her teachings on integrating mindfulness and compassion into yoga practice and life. By drawing from the wisdom of these teachers, Stacy helps her students deepen their understanding of themselves and their connection to the world around them. Ultimately, Stacy’s intention to hold space for her students to connect with at least one full breath reflects the essence of yoga: the union of mind, body, and spirit. Whether on the mat or off, practicing yoga with Stacy offers an opportunity to cultivate presence, authenticity, and inner peace in every breath and every moment.

Reignite your inner light and celebrate the season of aliveness!
Summer invites us into brightness, warmth, and connection — a time to expand, celebrate, and live with a full heart.
Join Stacy McGinty for a weekend of yoga, meditation, and mindful exploration at the serene and sacred grounds of Ratna Ling Retreat Center, a Tibetan Buddhist-inspired sanctuary nestled in the redwoods of Sonoma County.
This retreat, rooted in the theme of Vitality & Joy, invites you to awaken the life force within — to rediscover a sense of playfulness, presence, and gratitude for the beauty of being alive. Through guided movement, stillness, and community, we’ll reconnect with what nourishes the spirit and cultivates sustainable joy as we invite in the light from the summer solstice this month.
This weekend includes:
Morning Vinyasa and Pranayama sessions to awaken energy and clarity
Afternoon Restorative and Yin Yoga to integrate, release, and soften
Guided Meditations and Dharma Talks exploring Buddhist teachings on joy and compassion
Wholesome vegetarian meals prepared with mindfulness and local ingredients
Time for rest, journaling, reflection, and connection with a like-minded community
As the year’s energy peaks, we are reminded that vitality isn’t about doing more — it’s about aligning with what enlivens you. This retreat offers space to recharge your body, renew your spirit, and return home feeling radiant, grateful, and connected to the joy that’s always available within.
