About this Retreat
DeAnn offers an eclectic and balanced yoga practice, infusing her classes with mindfulness, connection, and Spirit. She brings a sense of calm and a sense of empowerment to her thoughtfully sequenced classes. Guiding students on their yogic journey one breath at a time. In the fall of 1998, DeAnn began practicing hatha yoga and tai chi and in 2004 she completed her first 200 hour teacher training in the Viniyoga tradition. Over the course of the last 25+ years DeAnn has had the great opportunity to be a student of sacred earth based and mystical practices, studying with many teachers in various traditions to include: hatha yoga (Iyengar, Viniyoga, and Prana Vinyasa), kundalini yoga, qigong and tai chi, Pilates, ayurvedic practices (Dincharya and seasonal nutrition focus), cranioscaral therapy, thai massage, sound healing and journey healing. E-RYT 500 hour, and YACEP yoga alliance registered teacher.
Details of this retreat
Step into the fullness of summer and reconnect with the vibrant energy within you.
Surrounded by the majestic redwoods of Sonoma County, this nourishing weekend retreat invites you to both energize and deeply restore. Through a thoughtful blend of flowing vinyasa and grounding yin yoga, you’ll awaken your vitality while creating space to slow down, soften, and listen भीतर.
Each day we’ll build gentle heat through intentional movement—inviting strength, clarity, and presence—then unwind into longer, supported holds that encourage deep release and energetic balance. Guided breathwork, meditation, and seasonal rituals will help you align with the expansive, life-giving energy of summer.
You’ll leave feeling clearer, lighter, and more connected—to your body, your heart, and the natural rhythms that sustain you.
This weekend includes:
Dynamic vinyasa and accessible, uplifting movement
Yin yoga for deep release and energetic flow
Guided Yoga Nidra for profound rest
Pranayama (breathwork) to restore and energize
Meditation and quiet reflection in nature
