With over 30 years’ international experience as a teacher, manager and consultant in the health and
wellness industry, Ann is looking to work alongside others in a holistic setting to design meaningful
mind-body-heart workshops and retreats.
Having lived most of her adult life in Asia, her experience gained from her travels and life-long study
of both eastern and western mind-body practices, allows Ann to seamlessly blend her knowledge to
deliver authentic, experienced and relevant teachings to a wide group of people to balance and
enliven their well-being.
Coming to Yoga through spiritual interest and enquiry during her travels to India as a young adult,
Ann embarked on her first ‘official’ yoga training in 2001 in Costa Rica and has never looked back.
Training intensively in India and around the world with the world's leading yoga masters, Ann has
studied classical Hatha Yoga, Insight Yoga (integrating Yin Yoga, Taoism, Buddhism and Psychology)
and yoga for cancer teacher trainings, among other practices. Qualified in Pilates (physio-led and
classical), functional strength and somatic movement, Ann has studied alongside world leaders in
neuroscience and their research based applications to wellness of contemplative practice,
mindfulness and self-compassion practices.
Living in Hong Kong for over a decade she became a leading figure in the health and fitness industry.
As a wellness consultant to the Mandarin Oriental group, Ann helped launch several new spas with a
focus on integrative wellness services. This was followed by 7 years in Singapore. Here, Ann worked
closely with the COMO Hotelier Christina Ong, creating, delivering, teaching and supporting the
wellness offering at the world renowned COMO Shambhala Estate in Bali.
A move to the French Alps in 2013 allowed Ann the opportunity to immerse herself more fully in her
yoga/meditation training and practice. She delivered her first teacher trainings in Switzerland and ran
her own successful yoga retreats alongside setting up a new business with her husband creating a
wellness cafe/cycle company.
Since returning to the UK in 2018, Ann has continued to lead retreats, classes and workshops,
focusing on yin/restorative yoga, Pilates, and mindfulness meditation. She is still inspired personally
by the depth and relevance of ancient practices and how western science is at last beginning to
support them. She hopes in the future to find her way into an integrative and palliative team to offer
holistic support to simply help others feel better.
