6 Day "Goddess Within" Women's Transformational Yoga Retreat in Greece

Floriane (Flo) is a student of the world who, just a few years ago, left an office job with just a backpack in search for deeper meaning in life. She explored and discover different types of yoga, energy trainings and mentors all over the world, inspiring her to find her path. She completed a Yoga Teacher Training in Vinyasa followed by Yin Yoga training, and started teaching yoga in Puerto Escondido, Oaxaca, where she offers students a safe, warm and non-judgmental space where all types of shapes, ages, genders and nationalities are welcome. Flo’s wellness & spiritual practices evolved to encompass the science of sound healing with Tibetan bowls, using sounds, vibrations, and music to bring positive effects on the body and the mind. She was also guided towards learning beautiful Mayan ancestral ceremonies – among them the art of sacred cacao ceremony, a medicinal plant to awaken your consciousness and connect to your heart to release what no longer serves you. She considers herself to be a cheerful holistic medicine therapist passionate about helping others to find their own inner healing tools. SOUNDBATH MEDITATION There is no organ system in our body that does not react to sounds, music and vibrations. A Soundbath is an invitation to welcome healing vibrations through the different layers of our body and to let the great power of music restore us. It allows us to release old or negative energies, stress which are stored inside us. We feel more calm, deeply relaxed and when this happens, we tend to heal faster. VOICE ACTIVATION Our voice is the internal gateway, between mind and body: A powerful healing tool that helps us to release tensions. During this voice activation workshop, Flo guides us to release the fear of judgment and reconnect with the joy of singing in a natural and spontaneous way through different exercises. There are no right or wrong sounds here. It is about activating your right to be heard, opening up your throat chakra, empowering your unique voice…and also to listen fully to others. A magical moment of co-creating songs between women.

As a lifelong storyteller with a background in journalism and communications, Renee’s journey has revolved around authentically connecting with people and teasing out their unique stories using written and spoken words. Through her own life travels, she made her way from Canadian soil (where she was born and raised by Chinese immigrant parents) to Pacific Coastal Mexico, where she laid down roots and started a family. Her move to Utah in 2010 was accompanied by massive personal shifts that began a renewed curiosity for personal growth, transformation, and self-inquiry that led to the creation of Wild Women Tribe in 2018. As the primary space holder for the retreat, Renee curates a container of inclusivity, compassion, abundant love, and nurturing support that allows women to step into discomfort and find lost parts of themselves that have been buried deep within layers of life, busyness, fear, and avoidance. Tapping into all aspects of words and language, Renee leads workshops that center around connection: to source, to self, and to each other as sisters journeying side by side along a beautiful, unfolding path back home.
