Your Guides
Denelle Jarro Numis is an advanced yoga teacher (E-RYT 500) and meditation teacher. With over a decade of experience, Denelle offers an authentic and intentional perspective to your experience both on the yoga mat and on the meditation cushion. Since movement is her biggest passion, she guides students through an intelligent and exploratory yoga asana sequence while incorporating mindfulness and real-life lessons into the practice. In addition to her yoga studies, she has a B.S., an MBA, a love of travel and an impassioned zest for life.

!Vamos a España! Let’s go to Spain!
Join me on a 5-day retreat in the countryside of Barcelona, Spain. We will meet at Alaya Retreat Centre, an eco-oasis just 45-min outside the city of Barcelona. Arrive anytime before check in time on Thursday, October 17th and we will gather for an evening meal and restorative yoga nidra session. The subsequent 3 days will be full of yoga, food and fun in the sun. I will offer morning meditations and vinyasa yoga classes paired with early evening cool down sessions, featuring yin or restorative yoga before dinner. We will enjoy mostly vegetarian meals and there will be options for our vegan friends and our carnivore friends. Gluten and or lactose intolerant attendees may also be accommodated as needed. Breakfast, lunch and dinner will be included as well as regular coffee, tea and filtered water breaks with fresh fruit! Additional add on activities include lounging poolside, trips to the Alaya Wellness Center (Jacuzzi and sauna), therapeutic massages and more!
ABOUT ALAYA RETREART CENTRE:
The Alaya Retreat Centre is located in a 150 year old, recently renovated wine farm (“Cal Pau Cruset”) 45 minutes from Barcelona. Surrounded by vineyards and a large garden with fruits, olive and almond trees, the beautiful ‘Masia’ (winefarm) consists of 4 private villas and a yoga shala. There is a swimming pool located at the far end of the garden between the fruit and palm trees and a wellness centre with a jacuzzi and a sauna nearby. The word Alaya comes from Sanskrit meaning “base or home” and is also the ground state of existence or consciousness; the place from which all things arise and exist. Come to Barcelona and come back home to yourself.
