"If you are looking for an extremely structured and safe company to use, absolutely consider Avalon. The Shaman's they picked in my retreat were PHENOMENAL! They take great care in creating a program that allows you to go fundamentally and intrinsically deep in your healing, leaving you with a toolkit to delve into when you are integrating. Chef's kiss. It was a transformational process. In some ways life changing and in equal measure life affirming. HOWEVER... In my group there were certain individuals who were overwhelming and overbearing. Not only in the ceremonies but in every activity, including integration. Despite the groups outspoken view (we were told we could share without judgement), management decided to protect their brand and management structure instead of finding other ways to allow for certain overbearing individuals to have their experiences away from the main group. I say this on 4 accounts of accountability from management. The forth one i can allow some leniency, but it needs to be said nevertheless. I will also say this. Many of us and you reading this... "There is always a price to pay". Not all of us have endless funds and it is a serious commitment we are undertaking. 1. When i saw on the intake form "Do you agree to take a drug test" I took that very seriously and subject myself to extreme discomfort in the build up of the retreat in my diet phase. I took no drugs and stopped all my supplements, which normally made me feel fundamentally good in my day. No drug test took place and one member of the group admitted to be on anti depressants (admission of this was on the last day). This could have ruined the whole experience for us as we came to learn that the combination of anti-depressants and ayahuasca could be fatal. This was a huge oversight, especially as it felt the question asked was purely lip service. 2. Discernment was not applied in the interviewing process by management. Either the client in question lied about their personality or management did not ask deep enough questions to consider how individuals would impact the whole group. Furthermore, if management were lied to they should have had extra facilities to accommodate this, especially as the whole group bar none complained daily. Nothing was done. If you are reading this and on some level you know you lie about your personality, know that the majority will find out and some will have the courage to speak on the matter with INTEGRITY. Why else would be subject ourselves to such an experience. 3. We were told we could share our experiences without judgement and on the whole we could, however, when it came to speak our truth on specific individuals having an impact on ALL of our ceremonies it was met with a "spiritual cloud" to look within and assess whether in some way the deficit in our own understanding and area of healing needed more work. This was incorrect, misplaced and not delivered well. It jarred many souls' experiences. Energy never lies. 4. I wanted to share the above 3 points in my 1:1 session, but was challenged to think on whether the 1:1 was the right setting in which to share these thoughts. I pondered in silence and came to the conclusion that the uncomfortable amount of time it took for me to come to that conclusion that the 1:1 was not the right place. However, I did say to the facilitator to please arrange a time to hear my significant thoughts before the retreat ended in person, which was met with a commitment. The commitment never emerged. Therefore, i write this in full here. To note, I definitely don't mean 1 star, but in the world we live in many people read negative comments than positive, so here we are. "

"What can I say ?! I really found it a lifetime changing experience. I am normally a down te earth typical Dutch guy, and if you had asked me before then I would be .quite sceptical about something like this. But now looking back I would love to see that they could make this mandatory for all the leaders and politicians and even for the big corporate guys. The ceremonies were so powerful done with authentic jungle medicine and following the tradional Shamanic indigenous ancestry of the Cofan tradition. Daniel is a healer beyond words and worlds leading the ceremonies playing powerful live icaroes from the jungle. A powerful humble warrior magician who will guide you through to the light. Paula's voice and guitar playing melts the soul and is such a loving spirit of nature. Xavi a protective loving guardian ever present and Dragon a mischievous spirit who will make you smile and laugh out loud in or out of ceremony. Many thanks to Kateryna who’s beautiful voice and guitar brought so much light. My kambo experience with Paula and Xavi was nothing short of miraculous. As a first time Kambo taker I was apprehensive but I felt so safe every second of it and seeing miraculous results in my body since taking it. I really can t thanks the MIRA team enough for what they do. Chosen by Ayahuasca to help heal the world with their love and humility. "I went to Barcelona on the 3rd of August 2024 for a bufo alvarius retreat with Avalon. I was extremely nervous about this one, I've done ayahuasca in peru in after following a calling back in 2022 and it was the most terrifying experience of my life, however it completely changed my life for the better in so many ways. After, I felt a calling for bufo so I spent some time doing my research which is very important with these kind of experiences and I came across Avalon with great reviews I decided to message and go for the one to one video call with Ammy which was great there and then, I decided to book the retreat in Barcelona Ammy made me very comfortable, she listened to my story of why I wanted this and she answered all of my questions. And continued to help me right up until the day of my retreat. When I arrived I was welcomed and made to feel very comfortable, I was very nervous but they really calmed my nerves, the facilitators and shaman very professional and after some meditation and breath work we did the bufo and it was the most incredible experience of my life, I instantly surrendered and they took good care of us, when I came back to my body I was laughing and smiling I felt amazing, and that wasn't the end of it, they then fed us delicious fruits and we then all shared our experiences with each other , we was all supposed to be there we helped one an other through the journey we was a family in this moment and it was beautiful. "I had many worries walking into this experience- I am in a peculiar time in my life, a dark time where I inately knew that I would need to be in concious and safe hands. Paula and Javi took all my concerns seriously- the serious ones and the more silly ones. They took time out of their day to give me well-thought out and intricate responses to all of my enquiries. A friend and I had informed them about our situation (a difficult sociopolitical situation) before coming and they held our predicament with high regard, relaying to Tatia Samith our situation and making sure we were cared for before, during and after ceremony. I usually aniticipate people to invalidate my experience or to not give it the weight it deserves- but the MIRA team were tender, wise and balanced in their approach. With them, I could let my guard down and focus solely on my healing without being hyper alert to any external threat. Every single person on the team was a blessing to have. Paula- a gentle healer with hands and a heart of gold. Javi, a child-like spirit with the wisdom of a protective elder. Danny- a sensitive warrior with a sureness in him that takes any fears away. And finally Taita Samith- God and Aya’s loyal and humble servant, a Jaguar and Parrot spirit with a Love that can feed the entire Earth. After this experience, I will not be joining any other team or retreat. The ceremonies took place in nature and Aya seemed to be familiar with her children (the MIRA team) and could work with us knowing that she was with people of integrity and that she was given the respect and honor she deserves. Its hard to find a retreat that is authentic, decolonial and not rooted in commercialization of the indeginious cultures. MIRA is just that. They serve the world from the heart and not from the ego or because of any external reward. Their medicine is Truth before anything else. Forever grateful for this experience and to have been in the presence of such historical indigenious ancestry (the Cofan tradition) that made it safe for my own ancestors to appear and recieve the Love they deserve. "Isa was very good at helping me feel so comfortable and safe. Her way with the tea bath and spirit cleanse allowed me to open up fully to be ready to embrace all that came. The journalling really helped me to focus on what I needed to focus on. I released so much anger. I just feel so much more at peace with my faults and with my strengths. "While I don't think psychedelics are for everyone, and it is important to be honest with yourself and your guide / host, I did find this to be exactly what I needed. My experience was primarily an emotional release. I had been particularly affected by symptoms of my CPTSD and BPD following the end of my marriage and triggered into being stuck in unexpressed grief, anxiety, dissociation, and emotional paralysis. I had the intention of moving my stuck energy and seeking clarity. I surrendered to the road medicine - which I think was important because it is very powerful. I felt safe and grounded in my intention though I was naturally a little nervous in anticipation. Just laying on a mat on the ground in Isa's backyard in San Agustinillo after having done the allusions and prayers and meditation. My experience was that it came on strong and right away I was transported somewhere else. I don't remember anything else except that I engaged with my grief and the paradox of my inability to let go or stay with a marriage that was no longer working. I wept and cried more than I ever have and subsequently was able to slowly shift my emotional dynamic. Much of that work was through some somatic work beginning with Ximena Hridaya also in San Agustinillo - and my masseuse and psychotherapist back home. My only qualm was my wrong expectation that there would be more in the way of integrative work included but I understand now that that is a larger process that I needed to facilitate with other helpers, which I did. Thank you Isa for holding and protecting the space for me to have this important and healing experience!"

"The founders of Shamanzon, Joel & Martín, are two individuals who hold themselves to a high standard of integrity and it shows. Their presentation of their collaboration and the space / container they create for communal healing is accurate: they deeply honour the lineages these spiritual traditions spring from and it shows in every aspect of the construction of the space. They honour these lineages not by picking up a melange of different rituals and de-contextualising them from the cultures these practices spring from, and not by naming themselves as 'shamans' and pouring the medicine in a western context, but by bringing over their teachers, now their friends, from the Amazon and simply faciliating a space whereby those who are truly within the lineage and have mastered these medicine paths can do their work. It's hard to find such a space, and it's very clear the founders aren't themselves 'in it' for money or for shine, they're in it because these plant medicines speak to their souls and because their initiated teachers have affected their lives and they want to share this with others. Beautiful space, well-tended, sensitive and delicate, and extremely fair fees to boot. Can't recommend these folk and the space they've created enough. "

"I participated in their 3 night retreat and was very happy to be called to that place and those people. The communication was easy and straightforward before, during and after the retreat, also many languages were spoken - so that gave it an easy start. My accommodation was in a single room because I prefer privacy - it was nice, clean, cosy and comfortable. As a matter of fact all the facilities are so much better in real life than on the photos here! The food was plentiful and nutritious, the hosts and facilitators were caring all the time. For me it was very important to have authentic shamans while doing the medicine, so having Taita Josè Antonio and Mamita Yolimar conduct the ceremonies and being available for discussion only made the experience more valuable and profound.
