A Place of Hope and Healing
As a two-time participant, it is not an overstatement that the treatment program at Confluence has catalyzed  meaningful changes in my life. Myles and his team have developed a program that masterfully combines evidence-based practicum, rigorous professionalism, and long-term client support, all delivered in an engagement framework that is defined by human-to-human connection (as opposed to business-to-customer). And the setting in beautiful, rural southern Oregon is the scenic icing on the cake that elevates this retreat from the merely bodily and spiritually therapeutic to the metaphysically edifying and sublime.

Unlike the passive patient model of conventional medicine, clients at Confluence are expected to “do the work,” and I credit the full and partial remission of multiple diagnoses since my time at Confluence as largely a product of my own effort, but an effort that was empowered through the support of the incredible staff at this organization; I could not have done it alone. If you are looking for a nonprofit provider that ensures you feel safe, comfortable, and empowered to take a quantum leap on your journey of healing and self-development, this is the place to start.

The experience I needed!
I came to the Confluence retreat searching for clarity and connection. I wanted to better understand the patterns in my life—especially the ones that were holding me back—and to find a way to begin reshaping them so I could show up more fully as an individual, mother, daughter, friend, and partner. Coming into the retreat, I was navigating low-grade depression, anxiety, and underlying anger. I felt somewhat disconnected from myself and my emotions, and I knew I needed space and support to truly look inward.

From the beginning, it was clear that this retreat was thoughtfully designed to support that kind of deep personal work. The preparation leading up to the experience helped me feel grounded and ready, and the follow-up created a sense of continuity and care that extended far beyond the five days. The Confluence staff and facilitators were exceptional—knowledgeable, attentive, and deeply compassionate. They created an environment where I felt safe enough to be vulnerable and to show up as my whole self, which is something I do not take lightly.

One of the most surprising and impactful parts of the experience was the group setting. I typically consider myself very independent, but being surrounded by others on their own journeys added so much depth and meaning. There was something incredibly powerful about witnessing and being witnessed—sharing space with people who were also doing brave inner work. It created a sense of connection and community that I didn’t expect but now deeply value. I left with relationships that I truly hope to continue.

The setting itself also played a huge role. Being immersed in the retreat experience over multiple days allowed me to slow down in a way that simply isn’t possible in everyday life. The setting was natural and beautiful, the accommodations were comfortable, the food was nourishing, and the space itself felt clean, comforting, and intentionally designed—a true container for this kind of transformative experience.

The structure of the retreat—particularly having two journeys with an integration day in between—was incredibly meaningful. The first journey opened the door in a profound way, but it was the second journey, after time to reflect and integrate, that allowed me to go deeper. I don’t think I would have accessed that same level of insight or healing in a single experience. Having the time, support, and space to process and then re-enter the work made all the difference.

Since the retreat, I’ve felt a noticeable shift. I feel lighter, more present, and more connected to myself and others. I’m able to access and move through a broader range of emotions instead of shutting them down or pushing them away. I’ve found myself allowing things to simply be, rather than reacting or closing off as I might have before. There’s a greater sense of wholeness and clarity in how I relate to my life and the people in it.

Overall, this experience was deeply impactful. It wasn’t just about the journeys themselves, but about the care, intention, and community that surrounded them. I’m incredibly grateful for the space that Confluence created and for the opportunity to do this work in such a supported, thoughtful environment.

Exceptional experience! Exceeded expectations
I participated in the 5-day retreat and it was truly transformational and cathartic in the best of ways. The team at Confluence are the utmost professionals setting the conditions that allowed me to reflect meaningfully on the ways I wanted my life to change and then providing a safe and supportive environment for the powerful medicine to do its work. The curriculum and group format of their retreat further deepens the experience. Their facilities take full advantage of the beautiful town of Ashland and the beautiful surrounding mountains. The accommodations, meals and supporting logistics are outstanding. Superb and effective. I researched psilocybin retreat centers extensively for over 2 years and Confluence kept emerging as the leader in the space for legal US-operated psychedelic-assisted therapeutic programs. Confluence definitely lives up to their outstanding reviews and feedback from their participants.

A Successful March 2026 Retreat
As a medical professional, I thought long and hard before giving this type of therapy a try. I can now say with confidence that I feel much better now than before I arrived at the retreat site. Myles has assembled an amazing team, which always includes a licensed clinical therapist experienced in integrating psilocybin-induced experiences into the pre- and post-preparation discussions. There is an extensive pre-retreat preparation including reading and podcast suggestions. We have just completed our first post-retreat online group session, and it was wonderful to see everyone again. The emphasis is on self-improvement. At no point did I feel that this experience was “just for fun.” I cannot say for certain that I am cured, as there is always more work to do, but my anger and depression have dissipated.
