With years of experience in the world of plant medicines, Austin Romero is the heart and soul behind The Huachuma Project, a retreat center nestled in the Algarve, Portugal. As a Medicine Man, Austin has facilitated over 200 Ayahuasca ceremonies and served more than 2,000 people globally as a Kambo practitioner. His journey into shamanism began after a life-changing Ayahuasca ceremony in 2015, and he has since dedicated himself to working with San Pedro (Huachuma), which became his primary medicine in 2018.
Austin’s unique approach blends traditional shamanic practices with modern therapeutic modalities. He integrates rapid transformational hypnotherapy, psycho-spiritual inquiry, energy work, and neuromuscular techniques to support deep personal healing and spiritual transformation.
