Samadi Healing offers a truly all-inclusive retreat, in the sacred valley of Peru, that allowed my wife and I to feel very comfortable throughout. First of all, the accommodations were wonderful, nestled in the fabulous gardens of Willka T'ika. Samadi Healing also personally prepares all food and snacks with love baked into every bite. Special accommodations and attention were made for specific dietary restrictions. Each ceremony is thoughtfully planned and discussions with all participants about expectations, intentions, and potential interactions were carefully reviewed and discussed. The ceremonies themselves are masterfully orchestrated. They weave traditional shamanism, icaros, sound healing, and plant medicine into a space that allows for deep healing. I especially appreciate the intimate attention from both Samer and Gemma towards everyone’s individual needs throughout the retreat. The food therapy talks were an added treat and provided insight into how we can continue to use food as medicine after returning home. Each day, there is plenty of time for personal questions ranging from alternative approaches to healing, how to bring more harmony into life, and really whatever is on your mind. We had a great time with Samadi Healing and highly recommend them to anyone looking for a safe, loving, and transformational experience.

Attending the San Pedro retreat with Samer as the shaman was a transformative experience. The medicine itself is incredibly pure and potent, offering deep insights and healing. What really stood out was the space, completely safe, non-judgmental, and supportive, allowing everyone to fully immerse themselves in the experience.

I have participated in other medicines spaces at other retreat facilities, and I slowly developed fears around these spaces. However, after a few consultation calls with Shaman Samer and Gemma I could feel the excitement and trust in my own body that this would be very different and beneficial.

The facility itself was welcoming, grounding, safe and the food provided was outstanding. From the very beginning, it was evident that Shaman Samer and Gemma were more than just instructors; they were compassionate guides on a shared journey of healing and self-discovery. Their genuine kindness and love radiated from every interaction.

The last few years I have become more consciously aware of my battle with childhood traumas that have left me with heavy burdens of guilt, shame and worthiness. These burdens have also manifested in my body as severe stomach disorders that I cannot seem to shake.

Each ceremony is special in their own way and the final ceremony hike is forever my most life changing experience. I left with new perspectives, new understandings, and an excitement for the future. I felt a more grounded connection to my body and to Mother Nature. I could feel that my mind and body overall were calmer and lighter. For the first time I could feel the depth of my own heart and what that means to live from the heart. Shaman Samer and Gemma’s approach was not just professional but deeply personal, as they took the time to connect with each participant on a soul level. Whether through one-on-one conversations, group activities, or heartfelt gestures of kindness, they made it their mission to ensure that everyone felt seen, heard, and valued.

Their knowledge of healing with food was super impactful for me as well. Not only did they help me develop a plan for healing when I return home, but I had a major stomach flareup during the retreat. They met me with such compassion and accommodation to ensure I was able to continue to participate pain free. Through their gentle guidance and unwavering support, they created a safe container where we could open our hearts, share our stories, and release the burdens we had been carrying for far too long. I have been home about a month now and I can say for certain this has been the best integration process I have experienced by far. Communicating with San Pedro, Kambo and Rapé was the best choice I could have made at this point in my life. I am forever grateful to the medicine, Shaman Samer and Gemma.
