About this Retreat

Your Guides

Details of this retreat

Kula Collective's 300hr YTT focuses on honing in on your essence as a teacher; following your greatest excitement towards the cultivation of your unique gifts. Through the expansion of your own sacred consciousness and the full embodiment of your practice we support you to radiate the teachings of yoga in your own powerful and distinct way.

Mornings start by going deep into advanced practice, with expert sequencing drawn from asana, pranayama, meditation, bhakti and worldwide spiritual, energetic and movement practices. Our days center around your own self-discovery, healing and spiritual advancement, through comprehensive discussions on yogic philosophy, ancient wisdom and mystical teachings; complementary healing practices such as Ayurveda, energetic healing and shamanic healing and interactive workshops that refine and break down the techniques and artistry of holistic yoga teaching.

Our in-person 22-day YTTs are designed to bring the teachings alive through learning in a dynamic and interactive community at the sacred location of Tennessee! This is the time to embody the yoga teacher in you through peer teaching and hands-on assists. In the in person portion, we emphasize philosophy, therapeutics, ceremony and earth medicine.

We will have an optional Kula Karma day following the training that you will have the opportunity to participate in OR a Karma project after the training to shine your light in your hometown!

Accommodation

In the foothills of the oldest mountains in the world lies time and space for connection. The sacred stillness of this ancient world is the perfect place to become aware of the divine reflection within yourself. Step out of your daily life to find solace, and step back in strengthened with techniques to maintain balance and honor for that oneness that lies within and outside of you. Seven Springs is the Tennessee home of Zach and Jessi, two of our Kula Collective co-founders. The family spirit is strong here: Jessi’s grandmother and parents have been homesteading the land for almost fifty years. From building to managing to mowing the grass, it takes all four generations to keep it up. Set on 126 acres of secluded forest, this is the perfect place to disconnect and reconnect. It has come a long way in six years, earning the title of #1 meditation retreat center in Success Magazine (sep/22). Gather for practice on our hand-built shala with local cedar posts. Nourish yourself with Olivia’s hearty local vegan and vegetarian cuisine. Fill your cup with crystal clear spring water. Walk the creek between our springs among old growth hardwoods. Get out to explore & hike Great Smoky Mountain National park just a short drive away. Just 25 minutes from the Knoxville airport and within a day’s drive of so many cities, getting away from it all has never been this easy. As summer sings in the mountains, rivers, and forests, it is a perfect time to allow the fire of the sun purify and ignite our intentions in our hearts, minds and souls. This 22-day journey provides the space between to explore your Self, letting you emerge feeling supported, inspired and full of the breath of new beginnings, with a clear direction and aligned action.
